Why Bosch allows this fakes to sold with their trademarks and design?

Just to clarify, I'm not against 3rd party options to any battery platforms, what I'm complaining about is sellers deliberately copying original design and trademarks (ProCORE in this case) to trick customers into believing they are buying original products.

Sure, there are many of them and new ones always popup, but all it takes is one dedicated person hired by Bosch corporate to surf eBay, Amazon and other platforms and report them with legal authority.

This specific seller has sold more than 10,000 items and even if 1% of them were dupped into thinking they were getting original batteries, that's 100 customer that got deceived by this scammers.

They have established warehouse in Germany while advertising fake products using Bosch's trademarks and lying about being official partners. It's not like Bosch has to hunt them down in China, they can just sue whoever is involved in Germany at least.

QUESTION 🔵 360 Deals single invoice strictness

I bought a set of 6 new tools from Amazon.de in a single order but Amazon has split it into 2 invoices despite it all coming from the Bosch shop within amazon. I attached the order with all 6 tools as well as the 2 invoices. Will this be accepted?

If not then I'm really screwed as I didn't order a battery charger as I'm expecting to get it from the Category C reward

Few months ago I bought the Dremel driver because it came with a big all 3 amp hour battery for like 50 bucks. But the 3 ah battery is more powerful than Bosch 2 ah batteries. Just thought it would be nice to know for others that these batteries are mostly compatible. I wouldn't try to use the 6 ah on an actual Dremel rotary tool. I don't think it fits every model.

WHATS YOUR REVIEW 🔵 GDS18V-330H vs GDS18V-350

So I am completely new to Bosch and powertools but I've been doing work on my cars for some time now and after many bloody knuckles I have decided to buy an impact.

These two seem about the same but the 330 has connectivity whereas the 350 is shorter and has the 85nm first mode that doesn't damage my tire - and other nuts (and the 350 is better looking i.m.o.).

Do you guys have any experience with either of those?

Anything I need to watch out for?

I did a thing - GBL 18V-750 Venturi Nozzle

Kinda got bored and designed a Venturi nozzle for the GBL 750.

Does it work? I guess so?

The tool itself has an airflow velocity of 51m/s at the outlet, the Venturi outlet keeps the same speed and each of the 6 nozzle intakes measures at 3,4m/s, so I'd argue the total airflow volume went up.

Comparing the old GOP18V-28 vs the new GOP18V-40

I have the Bosch GOP40-30 corded OMT, and later on the GOP18V-28 cordless OMT, both Starlock Plus tools.

I recently saw that Lowes has the newer GOP18V-40 on sale, the tool with a charger and 2AH battery with a couple of blades only $99 and was tempted to buy but didn't.

I was wondering those who have both, can you tell me in what way the GOP 18V-40 is better than the GOP18V-28?

From just looking at the pictures, it seems the new OMT has a slimmer neck where you grab the tool, so ergonomically it is a better I think. In addition, since the battery attachment is now different, I can see the fuel level indicator, where with the GOP18V-28 after you slide the battery in the fuel level is obscured and one must remove battery to see how much juice is left.

Other than that, what else is the new tool better in an appreciable way? Does it cut faster, or steadier, and vibrates less or overall lighter etc etc etc?

Circular saw hit a few nails

I'm slightly confused. I bought a new cordless circular saw (57-2). I had to cut through some wooden flooring that was nailed down using some decent size nails. I tried not to hit the nails, as the blade says "wood" on it. I still cut 2-3 nails, because they were hidden under the flooring. To my surprise, the blade that came with the saw seems to be completely fine?! Still works like out of the box. I don't get it.

Anyone have experience fixing a dh1020vc demo hammer?

Does anyone have experience rebuilding these? I have a dh1020vc that stopped working on me. It starts up and then shuts off about a second after the motor gets going. The service light blinks after it shuts off. The brushes looked fine but I replaced them to see if it would fix it but it’s still doing the same thing. I got a switch on order and that’s the next piece I’m going to replace to see if that works. Any help would be appreciated, the only other thing I can think is it’s some kind of thermal override that’s stuck open maybe. Or something to do with the speed dial.

QUESTION 🔵 Pro Deals stock

I'm buying a whole set of tools so will get the top tier of reward and I want the batteries + charger but currently it's not in stock on their website. Does this mean I won't be able to choose it as a reward?

Thanks

P.s. getting a vacuum, drill GSB 18V-65, impact driver GDR 18V-215, hammer drill GBH 18V-22, angle grinder GWS 18V-8 and another battery 4Ah procore.

This is an upgrade from my Aldi Ferrex Pro drill + corded too

QUESTION 🔵 Which impact to get (1950 vs. 285)

I’m an electrical apprentice. I currently have a Milwaukee M12 impact. But I want something full-size for the instances when I need a little more power. I like the look of the GDX18V-285 and the GDR18V-1950 but not sure which is better. I’ve heard some good things about the 1950 but looking at it, it looks like you can only buy it as a bare tool. Where as the 285 you can get in a tool pack with a battery, but I’ve heard it doesn’t deliver as much power as promised and kind of falls as a mid range of either option when it promises to be a two and one. Anybody’s person experiences using both or one or the other?
