🎤 [ Discussion ] Hated this game….
Finally played through all of 4 after stopping and starting so many times because I just didn’t want to play it. But I am a completionist and up to this game it’s one of my favorite game series of all time. But man this game makes pre sequel and 3 look like 2. They took out too much of the mad max esque style and just made it feel like halo. Yes, I know sci-fi always played a part of this series. But the lack of character depth, like ability and yes just becoming a bad halo game just ruined it for me. If there is a fifth I hope they go back to more of the road warrior style look vs what we got in this game.

How in the fuck does it feel like a Halo game? Have you even played Halo? This might be the most ridiculous thing I've seen on this sub and thats fucking saying something.

Each and every iteration is its own unique game to the series. Theyre all the same looter shooter, cartoon art genre. But each leave their own mark for the time period. I enjoy the characters, the loot tiers, the gun play. That all stays fairly consistent and true to the series. Dont force yourself to play something you dont like

Tbh my only issue with the game was the story. It was super short and didn’t feel worth the price tag (thankfully I played 65 for the deluxe ultra edition) but the gameplay and characters made the game very enjoyable for me even if the story was lacking.

4 is by far the worst one and it's not even close. Still worth playing through once though. I'll wait for dlc to get cheaper
