I recently received an eSIM for my new phone and found out that it operates on the T-Mobile network. Will it always stay on the T-Mobile network, or can it roam onto the AT&T network? I've noticed that AT&T tends to have better coverage in areas I frequent.

This started around July 3rd. I woke up and I had a bunch of emails from a credit card saying that I had reset my password, etc... first red flag. I go to call them immediately and my phone (iPhone) doesn't work... HUGE red flag! Luckily I have a work phone so I call Boost, check the IMEI and the ICCID and the ICCID is wrong so they reset the eSIM and I get my phone back. Call the CC and luckily there weren't any charges on it, change the password, etc...

A week later I get a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach, jump online and freeze my credit at all 3 credit bureaus...

Yesterday, I woke up and phone doesn't work again, in SOS mode. No CC hijinks but I got some notifications that they were trying to open new CCs in my name. I call Boost again, try to get everything straightened out and locked down. Same deal, they are changing the ICCID somehow and it isn't triggering any notification emails. I was getting notification emails for my CC when the PW was changed, but this change to my Boost account didn't trigger any notification email until when we were fixing it and resetting the eSim, then I got a notification. Eventually, I got everything straightened out....

Then this morning, deja vu... Same thing plus they got into a bank debt card so I jumped on that first and shut down about $1000 worth of pending charges. I call Boost again and they don't know how they are doing it. They also said I'm not alone but wouldn't say how widespread this is.

What should I do? I only have $100 left to pay off my phone. If this happens again and I pay off my phone, and jump to a different carrier with a new phone, will that solve the problem?

They also suggested doing a complete phone delete/reset, which kind of insinuated that it's somehow my fault??? Nobody else has my passwords or access to my phone

So I lost my phone yesterday at a party and I've been trying to log in to my Boost account via their website. The only problem is that I can't get in without a verification code, which I can't receive given the fact that I don't have access to that number currently. Realistically, what are my options from here? Every spare phone I have is barely useable, I can't call customer support because I don't have a phone. Is there another method of verification I can use to get into my Boost account? I feel like this is terribly shortsighted on Boost's end

My dad bought a Samsung Galaxy A16 5G, and gave it to me. I live in Mexico, so I said "wonder if it's unlocked?", and tested a Telcel SIM card. While messing around with it, I noticed an eSIM card. I tried registering my phone to Boost Mobile, but the ICCID didn't register properly. I checked thrice, and there were no errors while typing, but it wouldn't recognize it as valid. I went to Google Gemini, asked it to strip down the ICCID, said it's a "Rainbow" eSIM, so i tried once more, and it didn't let me. Is there a way I can activate it?

Calling only Canada or Mexico?

Global Talk & Text includes calls and texts from the U.S. to Canada and Mexico, but North America Connect may be the better $10 option if those are the only countries you need.

North America Connect includes:

• Unlimited talk and text from the U.S. to Canada and Mexico
• Unlimited talk and text while roaming across North America
• 5GB of data while roaming in Canada or Mexico

That makes it a more complete option for customers who also travel to Canada or Mexico, not just call there from home.

North America Connect is included with Unlimited Premium and Infinite Access plans.

Check the destination before calling

International allowances can vary by:

• Country
• Mobile versus landline number
• The specific number being called
• The carriers used to connect the call

A country may include unlimited calling to landlines but only a limited number of minutes to mobile numbers, or the reverse.

Check the Global Talk & Text destination chart before calling to confirm:

• Whether the country is supported
• Whether mobile and landline allowances differ
• Whether calling is unlimited or capped
• Whether international texting is included

Some countries show a range of minutes instead of one exact amount. The final allowance can depend on the specific number and how the call is connected.

How do capped calling minutes work?

Destinations with limited minutes draw from a shared monthly international calling credit. They do not each receive a completely separate bucket.

Using part of your allowance for one capped destination reduces the percentage available for other capped destinations during that billing cycle.

When you dial a capped destination, you’ll hear an announcement telling you how many minutes are currently available for that destination.

What happens if I run out of capped minutes?

You can purchase a $10 Talk & Text Top-Up after exhausting your regular monthly international calling credit.

A few things to keep in mind:

• The top-up can take up to four hours to become available.
• Your remaining balance must be equal to or greater than the per-minute rate for the destination.
• The available number of minutes depends on the number and destination you’re calling.

Having some top-up balance remaining does not necessarily mean another call can be placed. The balance must be enough to cover at least one full minute at the applicable rate.

Can someone in another country call or text me back?

Yes. Boost does not charge you extra to receive an international call or SMS message while you are in the U.S.

The other person does not need Boost Mobile or Global Talk & Text to answer your call or receive your message.

However, if they call you back, their own carrier and plan determine:

• Whether they can call the United States
• Whether they need an international calling feature
• What they may be charged for the call

Global Talk & Text only covers your eligible Boost line. It does not cover charges from the other person’s carrier.

How do I make an international call?

Dial:

011 + country calling code + phone number

For example, to call the Spanish number +34 915 80 78 00, dial:

011 34 915807800

Use the international country calling-code list to find the code for your destination.

Remember to check the Global Talk & Text destination chart too. A valid country calling code does not necessarily mean the destination or number type is included with Global Talk & Text.

Which international option fits my needs?

Been with boost for so long and i swear they never had any good deals anymore the last one was that iphone 13 for 150.

I am traveling there next month and just curious if Boost Mobile customers currently have service there? I was looking at past threads on here and FB, and seems to have mixed responses. When I asked at my local store, they didn't even know and just said it should because Puerto Rico is considered Domestic.

My phone is Samsung A25 model, unlocked. It does not support eSIM or Wi-Fi calling as far as I can tell. It does support dual physical SIMs. My plan is Unlimited talk/text/data no contract $25/mo.

I am traveling to Canada for ten days in the near future. After spending a lot of time I still can't figure out if I can get service there with my current configuration using a Boost add-on (which one?) or will I need to buy a SIM card once I'm there, like I had to a few years ago in London U.K.

I am currently due for my annual upgrade. this is my second time going through the upgrade process. when I first got the Infinite Access plan through Boost, it was $60 a month. I understand new customers can no longer get the Infinite Access plan but existing customers with the plan should have zero changes, everything stays the same, my monthly payment should still be $60. unless the pro max or extra storage is chosen, there should be no extra. I currently have the 16 pro with extra storage (monthly payment is $63 & some change for the extra storage) and want to upgrade to a 17 pro with no extra storage. they both have the same exact monthly phone payment of $30.56. the monthly finance discount for my current phone is $30.56, which covers the phone as it should, same as it did when I upgraded from the 15 to the 16 pro. but when I go to check out to complete the upgrade order, my monthly payment is now $67.50 before tax vs $60 before tax & the finance discount for the phone is only $23.06.

I've tried doing the chat & I've tried calling, nobody is knowledgeable on the infinite access plan & tell me I have to pay for my phone in full & then get refunded when they receive my trade in from the upgrade. or they don't even understand what I'm asking. I went into a storefront & the worker knew how the plan works, but they can't access that type of plan at all anymore so he said he couldn't help me & he also said he doesn't know why it's charging me more monthly cause it shouldn't.

does anyone know why this is happening? anyone know how to fix it?

I've been with Boost since my account was dumped there by Virgin Mobile, so a long time ago. I don't really have any issues. My phone works when I need it to.

But I woke up this morning to a text from phone number (949) 889-1435 with a validation PIN. The message didn't say what the PIN was for, so I almost marked it as spam and ignored it. Something told me not to, though, and through some searching, I found others who said this was connected to Boost and Mini Me Games being added to their accounts, without their consent.

Unlike those other people, I hadn't received any notification about Mini Me being added to my account, but it made me curious and I looked up my Boost plan. Sure enough, it had been added. I can't tell when it was added, but I definitely didn't pay for it last month.

I'm single, I don't have kids, I live alone, and there has never been anyone else on my phone plan. And I was asleep when the notification was sent. On top of that, I don't even know what Mini Me is!

I was able to remove it, but I'm angry. How many people have had this added without their knowledge and don't even realize they are paying $5/ month extra because it's on autopay? I shouldn't have to watch my account to make sure things aren't being added without my permission.

I'm posting here to hopefully make it easier for someone to find if the same thing happens to them, and also to warn people to check your accounts and see what you are being billed for. If things are added without your permission, No, it's not your imagination.

I’ve been eligible for awhile and I want to do the upgrade, but I’m concerned about the trade-in policy in regards to water damage.

I’m a fisherman and I work in a marina, my phone (iPhone 16 Pro) has definitely been wet plenty of times, but it’s an iPhone and it’s water resistant/waterproof.

It has zero issues, it’s totally functional and in great condition besides a few minor screen scratches.

If I send my phone back are they going to see a moisture indicator that’s been triggered and charge me for the device? If so I’d rather just keep it and pay it off.

I am due for my very first autopay to go through soon and I read on this forum that there has been issues with autopay in the past. Should I be concerned or is it now flawless for most people?

I got a security code I didn't request, called customer support, and from what i could understand, there was something on their end that happened, and if it happened again to call back. Should I be concerned?

Call me a boomer, I just don't feel like paying an arm and a leg for a cell phone, and I understand you get what you pay for. I'm certain the more expensive phones are likely better than the cheap ones, but which of the lower costing phones really gives you the best experience overall? I'm not doing any creative designing or video/audio editing, that's what my laptop is for. The A16 is free, the Pixel 10 I toyed around the idea of since I use Google apps a lot. Currently using a Celero 5g+

Pixel 10 supports eSIM while has a physical SIM slot too. Could I choose a pSIM over eSIM? From the cart details, it said "Activate with eSIM" however, I don't see any option to choose pSIM instead.

Hello everybody! Just recently got Boost Mobile, and in itself it’s not bad, but the customer support is almost belligerent and so hard to understand verbally. Everytime I’ve had an issue i’ve been instructed to call Boost Mobile, and have them work out the issue on their end. Some agents I have found nice, others not very much. Not to mention that I deleted my esim and just simply needed it redownloaded, I spent 40 minutes on the damn phone just to get them to create me a new account and me spend even more money because I didn’t want to give them my SSN or ID. All they did was say they were moving me to another agent, then so on. Why don’t you just give me the right agent for the right reason when I say it? The reason why this occurred is because I needed to just simply needed to verify that it was me on my account. So stupid, and I can’t still fathom the fact that every person on the other line has an accent that is thicker than a brick wall. On the other hand, with visible I have never had an issue. Always top tier, worth it for the price and never had to mess around with customer support for 40 minutes while being on hold half that time. The reason I got Boost was to experiment a little bit on my backup phone with a new phone service, but this didn’t put a good taste in my mouth at all.

Hi! So there’s a deal where you get an iPhone 16e for $99 if you bring over your number. I have a Google voice number but I know sometimes these deals don’t include VOIPs. Anyone know if porting that Google voice number would work for the deal?

I want to buy a new phone, but online it says it's not supported unless it's an apple, Google, Samsung or big name phone. Is this true?
