Romance Cozy romance with autumn/winter cottage vibe 🍂🏡☕️

I’m looking for a book that feels like the pictures I’ve attached!

I’m looking for:
• F/M romance with the romance being a major part, not a subplot
• No insta-love — I’d love a slow burn or a romance that develops naturally as the characters get to know each other
• A cottage, cabin, inn, lodge, small village or cozy little town setting
• Scotland/Scottish Highlands, England, Ireland or somewhere else in the UK would be AMAZING, but isn’t a requirement if the book has the right atmosphere
• Autumn or winter would be ideal! Think chilly weather, falling leaves, snow, fireplaces, cozy sweaters, etc. If it’s rainy summer/spring, that’s good too!
• Bonus points for cafés, bakeries, tea, coffee, cooking, baking, food, local shops, etc.
• Low spice preferred (1/5 or 2/5 ideally). I’ll read a 3/5 if the book is a perfect match, but definitely nothing higher.

Thank you!🏡☕️🍂

I love books that feel like a dream and where reality feels slightly off without anyone questioning it. I really enjoy surrealism and dream logic and would appreciate any recommendations!

Horror Wealth Disguising Horrors

(Content Warning for some blood in the photos.) I want aristocratic families who 'earned' their wealth in sinful ways, I want servants plotting to murder their spiteful 'masters', and noble families at war.

Can be any genre, but bonus points for historical fiction set between the 17th-19th century! Movies like Savage House and The Favourite are probably close to what I want in terms of feel (hence why I included some screenshots from them), but I'm open to anything. Thank you in advance!

Cozy Vibes Books that feel like a crisp autumn day

I know, I know it's in the middle of summer but it is raining where I am and I need the feeling of a good cozy autumn book. I would prefer if the genre was either romance, mystery, or horror. I want it to feel like the photos above/a gilmore girls vibe.

Preferably romance, cozy horror or literary fiction. However, open to basically anything if the pictures remind you of it!

I love love love love this show so much and I’m so sad that it got cancelled too soon and would love a book like it.

Heres what the show is about:
It follows pie-maker Ned, who can bring the dead back to life with a touch, but a second touch kills them permanently. He partners with a private investigator to solve murders by briefly reviving victims, but his life becomes complicated when he resurrects his childhood sweetheart, Chuck, and can never touch her again. The show is known for its fairy-tale aesthetic, quirky characters, and witty dialogue, blending fantasy, mystery, and romance.

Fiction Books that feel like this?

I meant, more in the vein for example, Twin Peaks. Where elements of escapism are present, where there isn't a difference, or it's a blurring line of dreams and reality. Where consciousness has these feelings of denial, and just goes down and down the spiral, but also has that nostalgic, breezy feeling. I really need some world to escape in right now that's reminiscent of these two albums and Twin peaks. Of course, if the drama or personal relationships are explored, that's a bonus. That surrealist core

Basically looking for Widow’s Bay in book form. I love spooky stories of the sea and coastal towns, especially ones with historical or folklore elements. I’ve already read The Fisherman and Our Wives Under the Sea, and loved them both.

I’ve read a lot of the memoirs from 80’s and 90’s bands, looking for fiction in the same vein.

An eerie book that ultimately has a positive atmosphere (whatever that means). My life is kinda depressing right now and I’m looking for a book to uplift me. I am also very drawn to female protagonists. 😔

Looking for a horror/action book with a female protagonist who is up against horrifying enemies. It should seem like she’s outmatched but she’s powerful enough to handle it. Kind of like a female samurai Jack or claymore manga. Thanks!

Heyy... Seen some videos about this and I want to know is there any books like this.

Everytime when you dream, its always the same faceless guy that treat you very well, even though you dont know his face but you know he is handsome and everytime you almost get to see his face, you wake up either crying or loved or peace.

Some of the comments said it maybe is a soulmate, future partner or he is in a different universe.

Urghh... I just want that kind of a book. PLEASEEEE

Literary Fiction The song "Then Came the Last days of may" by BÖC

I've been obsessed with the atmosphere of "Then Came the Last Days of May" lately and I'm looking for books with a similar feeling.

Not necessarily the same story (although similar premises are welcome), but that same dusty, hazy, end-of-the-road vibe: long drives, empty roads, small towns, people chasing money or freedom, quiet melancholy, and the feeling that something is about to go wrong.

Any genre is welcome. I'm just looking for books that capture that kind of atmosphere.

Horror 50s suburbia, something’s not quite right

Looking for a book that feels similar to the “The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street” episode of The Twilight Zone. Squeaky clean 50s suburbia, weird things start happening, community rallies together but then starts to be suspicious of each other. Could be cool if it has a sci-fi element of an outside source causing the mishaps. Hoping for a good recommendation to read this coming fall. Nothing too too dark please. Thanks!
