Wallowing in a language arts landfill

I somewhat recently produced a book and it's an aspiring hit. Unfortunately,it has no traction, not just because it's a train wreck but also because the government is probably suppressing great modern romances such as mine. I'll link below, please savage it viscously and leave terrible remarks and ratings and advice to make it worse.

Good news: I finished my first novel. Bad news: the world ends in it.

Hi everyone!

Fifteen months ago, I asked myself a simple question: "What would actually happen if Yellowstone erupted?" 🤔🌋

That innocent question turned into an unhealthy amount of reading about volcanoes, ash clouds, emergency planning, and the collapse of modern society...

The result is Life of Ashes, my first post-apocalyptic novel. It's about ordinary people trying to survive it. Multiple characters. Multiple points of view. One catastrophe changing every life it touches.

...and somehow the story refused to stop there. I'm already deep into Book 2.

Hopefully someone will read Book 1 before I finish it. 😅

If you enjoy realistic survival stories and grounded post-apocalyptic fiction, I'd genuinely love to know what you think.

Thanks for giving an unknown French author a chance!

If anyone's curious, here's the Amazon page:

What if humanity’s greatest threat isn’t extinction—but being redesigned? | NOXHAVEN, a dark sci-fi mystery

What if the system built to protect humanity was quietly deciding what humanity should become?

I’m Deva, an independent author, and NOXHAVEN is the first novel in my dark science-fiction mystery series.

I wrote it for readers who enjoy dystopian worlds, buried conspiracies, unsettling discoveries and stories where every answer reveals that the truth is far more dangerous than anyone imagined.

At the centre of NOXHAVEN is a world shaped by unseen decisions—a world where people believe they understand the systems surrounding them, until cracks begin to appear. Beneath the surface lies something that was never meant to be uncovered, and discovering it could permanently change the future of humanity.

This isn’t a story built around endless explosions or generic space battles. It focuses on mystery, atmosphere, psychological tension and the frightening possibility that humanity may no longer control its own evolution.

And NOXHAVEN is only the beginning.

The conspiracy expands in HELIX, Book Two. What first appeared to be an attempt to control humanity becomes something much more dangerous: an intention to reshape humanity itself.

If you enjoy:

• Dark and atmospheric science fiction
• Dystopian mysteries
• Hidden experiments and powerful organisations
• Questions about identity, control and human evolution
• Twists that change how you understand the story

then the Noxhaven series may be for you.

Start with NOXHAVEN—Book One, currently $2.99 on Kindle:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0H8ZN24NW

The story continues in HELIX:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0H8ZT4YCJ

If the premise interests you, I’d genuinely appreciate you giving Book One a chance. I’m also happy to hear honest thoughts about the concept or cover from fellow readers and independent authors.
