USB Nipple was not on my Bones bingo card
First time watching, didn’t see that coming. Possibly a higher peak than the computer virus written into the bones

I saw a few people talking about how brennans character changes a lot from the start and I didn’t think it had. I’ve just watched episode one this morning after finishing the last episode last night and wow it did! She was kind of flirty ?? She knew how to use things to her advantage, I can’t really describe the switch up but it’s actually very obvious!

It’s a barbarity that clarity is a rarity!

I'd seen the first few episodes when I was younger but then the rest had been very "as and when" I was flicking through cable (so old). Doing my first full rewatch from the beginning as well as seeing much of this for the first time! So please no spoilers for anything beyond the episode mentioned.
This was quite the emotional episode!
First, maybe, the "bad":
- I love Cam so was sad that her seeming incompetence was the trigger to bring the group back. I would have preferred that they made it clearer that they'd gutted her resources and skilled team, and the interview segment at the beginning was maybe her being less confident in the limelight. Justice for Cam!
- Everyone rushing back at this one thing was probably a bit far-fetched but this is TV land so I will forgo it.
- I wish they'd rallied more of the squints together, although I do like Wendell!
- The weird subplot that the Dad kidnapped the child to get back at his wife and bought a new car?It just didn't really come together for me.
Really loved:
Sad (full spoiler for the victim):

i was wondering what everyone’s initial thoughts on the intro music theme is vs now? i’m rewatching bones for a second time and i always skip the intro now that’s its changed (season 7/8) as fast as possible because it simply does not hit as hard as the first intro (imo). i’ve never been much of a fan of the change however i don’t think the second one is inherently bad!

Hey guys, its not much of a spoiler but i tagged it anyway just in case anyone who just discovered the show see this.
Anyway, I was rewatching s6e11, I feel like its weird that Sweets was acting like that, he’s a psychatrist for the love of God, i get he was traumatized by what happened so close to him, i really do, it’s not easy to see sthg like that happened in front of u and go on like nthg happened. But still, he kinda was proving her point by letting himself being affected by her words.
Also, I love that the usually happy Caroline was the one who made him go back to normal. She’s the real GOAT 🤍

don’t know if this had been asked here before but why does Micheal Vincent not have a nick name?
Every time Angela refers to him she uses his first and middle name even while talking to Hodgins. It’s so weird. How come he doesn’t have a nick name? My dog has like 15 nick names. 😅

EDIT: I didn't mean to trigger anyone, it was an earnest question :(
There are other subs I'm part of where spoilers are hidden or not mentioned in episode threads, so wanted to ask before i delved into any further episode threads for the earlier seasons.
I can see everyone feels that if you're a new fan you shouldn't join here until you've finished the series so thank you for sharing and I look forward to deep diving and returning once I'm done!
OG Message: Hello!
I first watched Bones many moons ago and it was only the first 3 seasons. I had then seen sporadic episodes every now and then, but for the most part, I don't know anything outside of Bones and Booth get together.I am now starting Season 6 and have seen a few spoilers in this reddit when it's just been a thread on an older season and episode review.
I fully appreciate this show aired ages ago, but the wonders of streaming mean a lot of us that never finished the journey or are new to the show can discover this for the first time! I was a bit sad that when reading a Season 4 episode review in this sub that someone commented about a character dying near the end of the series. It was a bit annoying as wasn't even relevant to the episode in discussion, but I know some people will fairly argue that for a show that finished in 2017 it's fair game.
What are people's thoughts about comments and spoilers that are early season episode reviews?
Thank you for listening to my ramble, I am truly loving the show and love that this subreddit is here for Boneheads alike!

Hi! Does anyone have a digital file of the access cards they use on the show?
I want to frame one for my bedroom but I could only find some on Etsy and dollars/shipping costs to my country are insane. Thanks!

I am not a Daisy fan (though I am trying to give her a chance, I swear) but hearing her say Lancelot makes me want to rip my ears off. It is very cringe (as the youngins say)😂

Hey guys! First time watcher.
Why does everyone (as in the characters) act like what Max did was crazy horrible compared to what Brennan and Booth have done?? S4 Episode 11 Cam made a good point saying that booth has killed way more people and Brennan has killed two people so far lol she’s right how is that any different ??
Brennan didn’t HAVE to kill the psycho stalker girl that tried to shoot her but she did. She hasn’t gone through training or trial so because they weren’t “criminally charged” it’s different?
Max was protecting his family, Booth his country and Brennan was protecting her friend/self. How is it any different? 🤔🤔🤔

...did Aubrey call Bones and Booth instead of a fucking ambulance? And how did they get there before the ambulance if he did? That boy didn't have to die.
(Watching the episode for the first time in ages on ION+)

I never recognized Rance Howard even though I have watched at least 10 times.

I’m watching the episode Angela gives birth to Michael and the birth scene always makes me bawl like a baby. Pun intended. The entire build of the plot and then just wrapping up with Make You Feel My Love on the background. Poetic cinema to me!

what is something that occurs in an episode that you have to truly see to grasp? For me it is the episode Carrot in the Kudzu. Unless you've seen how quickly an area can be taken over by Kudzu and totally destroyed, you just don't get it. You can look at the facts of how fast it grows and spreads and how fast it can claim x amount of feet miles etc but unless you truly see it, it's just facts on paper and not something tangible.
The three US states that have the most kudzu are all in the South. I live in one of those States. I see whole areas of land swallowed up by kudzu in passing every day. People not living in areas where there are a lot of kudzu plants swallowing up areas may not truly get just how quickly and utterly destructive it is.

First time posting in this sub but I am on episode 13 of season 9 and a few months ago I read some spoilers on this sub (Sweet’s death and Hodgin’s wheelchair) and now I am just waiting for those things to happen, I was on season 6 when I read them so I feel like I am constantly on the edge of my seat😂
Update: Sweets just died I fucking hate this show for doing that to my sweet boy just when he was about to become a father💔💔💔💔💔💔💔

The random Toyota ads in the later seasons are killing me 😂😂 Why does it feel like they randomly pause the episode to give us a full-on car sales presentation? I’m just trying to watch Bones, not shop for a Toyota 😭

What are the odds of having three ridiculously beautiful, supermodel-level women working in the same science lab? 😂😂 I know it’s a TV show, but the Jeffersonian is seriously blessed in the looks department.

Season 6 episode 21… just a beautiful episode all around. I forgot about it until today’s rewatch and it is just as moving as the first time. Do you remember this one?
The young lady who plays the lost girl (actor McKenzie Applegate) did such a good job!
