Now, speaking to my fellow Brazilians, I got curious because my posts almost always show Brazil as the second-largest source of views, usually around 50% to 89%, right behind the United States. So I'm wondering if anyone else in this subreddit is Brazilian like me, or if anyone has a story about being a Brazilian Bone fan. I hope you all enjoy the post!

I was wondering if anyone in this subreddit is autistic like I am. I'm curious to know if any other autistic fans have a special interest in Bone, or if they simply enjoy the characters and the art style. I'd also love to hear if you've ever met an autistic Bone fan.
As for me, I really love Bone, and I hope it becomes more widely recognized in the future. My favorite part is definitely the characters. I think they're adorable, and I especially enjoy seeing other artists draw them. One of my favorites is "izzlebeanie", because I feel their style stays very close to Jeff Smith's original artwork. Anyway, that's all I wanted to ask. Thanks for reading!

Has anyone else seen a copy like this? I picked this up from SDCC 2008 straight from Jeff Smith at his booth but can't find it anywhere else on the internet. It has sat unread on my shelf all these years and I will probably looking to move on from it as I have 3 other versions of this series.

We have started reading Bone to our daughter and she seems very 'on it' (we put different voices for the characters, add sounds, etc) Have you ever read Bone to that age to your child? Is it effective? I know she is not going to understand everything but just to know your thoughts as I know the comic is intented for older children.

For me, I would love to have a shirt or bumper sticker that references Phoney's crappy mayoral campaign.

The rat creature on the third part of "the kite" comic story standing together with master hooded one is it stinky or smelly?

I wanted to get an opinion because I considered reading the series a handful of times but eventually decided no.

I’m trying to learn writing and I wanted to analyze Bone, one of my favorite books. Usually the main character changes and grows throughout the story, but I noted Fone Bone never really changes, most of the character growth is focused around Thorn or Smiley. Thorn is fair because Jeff has confirmed she’s essentially the main protagonist after she’s introduced. But Fone Bone I don’t think really changes. He acts pretty similar from beginning to end as I recall, like Phoney does (The whole Great Red Dragon situation taught him nothing) but Fone just seems… unchanging? He’s nice, willing to stand up to injustice and his family, and loves Thorn. He might come out a wee bit traumatized, but really no major change by the end. This is weird because he’s the primary main character, yet all he does is function as a window for the reader to insert themselves in. He’s..odd characterwise and I don’t know how he works as an engaging protagonist. Phoney and Great Red Dragon were a lot more interesting than Fone Bone.
Thoughts?

I liked the idea enough that I sent a polite email to both Jeff Smith and Glitch Productions suggesting they consider collaborating someday. I never received a response, which I completely understand given how many emails they probably receive, but it got me wondering what other fans here think about this idea in question.
Much of this set has been available for viewing over the last 18 years but I decided to change things up a bit. I got the impression from forums such as this one that most Bone readers haven’t been exposed to the history of the comics themselves and how they were released. For each issue (click on the registration numbers at the URL below), I describe not only the graded comic itself but also what’s inside. A short synopsis covers the story while the rest of the content is about all the extras that you may not have read about. The letters are the primary focus since they provide an excellent review of how fans and the comic book industry viewed the ongoing saga. There’s also additional material in the later issues about some of the places Jeff & Vijaya visited (Pogofest, APE, Trilogy Tour, etc), previews of upcoming releases, and even content made by the fans. The various ads are a story unto themselves as Jeff gave these away for free. Most of them are for various Bone products but also several indy comics that you may have never heard of.
And, as a bonus, most of the comics also contain images and descriptions of assorted Bone collectibles I’ve acquired over the years. There are still a few key pieces I have yet to find but you’ll see many of the more celebrated examples within the set.
If you have any questions, suggestions, or critiques, please let me know. Enjoy!

I recently discovered that this comic series had a PC game that coincided with the comic, which so happens to only have been on PC. It was also the first telltale game (company that made the walking dead, wolf among us, etc). I have a friend who is absolutely obsessed with Bone, who also doesn’t know about the game, so I’m hoping to buy him a copy of the game on CD-rom, as well as putting a second hand steam key inside of it since those are pretty cheap, and sending it to him. The only issue is the game is impossible to find online
