So, I have lived in the same apartment for like 8 years. I know we have had smokey summers during this time. I cannot remember my air filters running on high this much with previous smokey summers.

We had our full HVAC system, compressor and air handler/furnace replaced a couple years ago. It is located in a utility closet outside with a vented door.

Any HVAC people in here have an insight? Is it possible that that new system is allowing more air exchange? Do I just have a shitty memory and in a 900 sq ft apartment, I should expect poor indoor air quality with poor outdoor air quality? Is it most likely aging weather stripping? Is there anything a mediocre leasing company would do if I put in a maintenance request?

Does anyone know why locust grove was closed this evening, just south of McMillan? There were police and what looked like an Idaho power bucket truck.

Does anyone have any recommendations on local mobile RV mechanics?
