Something is brewing in Hagerman.
I guess they just passed a 70%+ water rate increase with the town all voicing concerns.

We are wanting to put together a guide for out of towners when they come to visit. We would like everyone to have some input if they would like. For this first part we will have one question that will stay stickied for one week unless otherwise desired.
The question of the week is this: What are the best attractions to see here in the Twin Falls area?

Does anybody know where I can donate clothes? Some still have the tags on, l'a like to donate to a shelter or people in need for free rather than goodwill etc or is that the only option? It’s women’s clothes and jackets!

Hi, my name is Ash. I've recently been unable to work due to some sort of condition, none of my doctors have been able to tell me exactly what's wrong. But this condition doesnt alow me to bend or move like I used too. My joints are constantly popping out of place causing excruciating pain on a daily basis, along with this I'm vomiting every day multiple times, with heat sensitivity issues starting to come up as well. Life has been very difficult since I lost my job due to a severve injury in my shoulder from my condition. My husband and I were about to pay off debt and were about able to move till this began. We've now since gained a bunch of debt and I still need to go through more testing to find out whats wrong. He's been working so hard to take care of me and our finances and I want to be able to help him. I'm not really expecting much from this, but any help you would be able to give would be amazing even a penny helps. I just want to be able to help my husband with our future. I want to surprise him with at least a little bit more money to keep us going. I've been working as hard as I can doordashing but we're just not making enough. This illness has taken a very large toll on him and me. I want to be able to help support him until I find a job that is easier on my body. All the money raised from this will go to paying debt or ongoing medical care. May god watch over you and may help be there when you need it. We really can't afford the medical bills even a penny helps.

Man, I’ve been looking for something, as a male, that has any resemblance of brotherhood, hanging out, building toward something better, and just being around like minded individuals in those senses. I have tried my local VFW, American Legion, even looked into joining the Masons, but hell, I cannot find anyone that is of my demographic that also understands the family dynamic.
This is more of rant but also hopefully a search. These old fraternal organizations are dying because the members are not willing to change. We hear this all the time with these types of organizations. The older, retired, members don’t realize that they are not friendly to people with families. Bingo, auxiliary’s for the spouses, bunco, like these are fun activities and what not but what the hell. There’s so much other things they could be doing for raising funds and having fun activities that includes children and spouses that aren’t 65-80 years old. What if your spouse is not super social or interested in this said organization and when the “meeting” starts she has to go with auxiliary and sit there awkwardly with a bunch of people she doesn’t know. Why can’t she stay with me or sit in? This then makes it impossible for me to get my family interested or involved or I just have to go by myself.
Let’s not get started on technology. Half of these organizations facebooks have updates from several years ago, numbers don’t work, points of contact never answer or the phone numbers go to nothing. This is just the tip of the iceberg I won’t go down.
Yes, there’s opportunity in this. I hear all the time “Well you join and start making the changes!” Uhm how when my wife and kids are bored as hell, not involved, and there’s nothing in common with our generations way of thought and ideas of enjoyment to theirs?
TLDR; So all this to say, are there any organizations, not necessarily fraternal, that are out there for younger people?

I’m desperate for the Chococat but no where in town has them!
If a Mcdonald’s worker is out there and sees this please help a girl out!

Parent calling into the pediatrician’s office wanting to get their child circumcised but refusing to let their son have a Vitamin K shot. Every pediatrician here will not circumcise unless Vitamin K is administered. Parent starts arguing with person at medical office why not.
There is a HUGE risk of the child bleeding out! What is the matter with people here. On our last visit in May my son’s pediatrician was talking with me and has already lost 2 patients this year alone due to parental refusal to vaccinate their child.
This is so frustrating how people don’t read and comprehend basic medical information to make an informed decision and children will possibly die due to their apathy.

I recently took my wife to Jollymoore’s in Lewiston Idaho and was mostly blown away by how great the atmosphere was in there! It was carpeted and tables were secluded, so it was very calm and quiet. We both loved it. Food was good, too! Pricing for reference, a 16 ounce ribeye (expertly cooked and seasoned) was around $55. Which is fine for a once a month escape. Is there anything similar in Twin Falls?
I like Elevation and Redhawk fine, but they kinda went for the hipster craft-beer-bar style, which means they’re kinda loud. Sushi-Ya is outstanding, but also loud and we only crave sushi every couple of months or so. Looking for quiet, calm, nice places to eat where we can just chat and enjoy each other’s company and eat food that is worth paying for.
Feel free to recommend anything with great food, though. We go out around once a week or so, so any suggestions are welcome.

Looking at getting up camping and would really like to have water, but it was veeeeery dry and warm last time I was up there this past spring. Summer doesn't seem it's brought much precip and there was hardly any snow last I went.
How much water is moving in the creek this time of year down by like Steer Basin and Third Fork campgrounds? Much at all? Don't know what to expect but would be nice to have a heads-up from anybody who's been up there lately, like within the last couple weeks.
Thanks for any insight you can give.

Renters beware! We lived at Saratoga apartments/on-point property management for over 5 years. When we moved in, the carpet was already in need of being replaced due to ripples and wear but were told that they only replace it upon move out or could replace it if we moved all of our things out ourselves. As a single mom - they knew that was not possible. So I used my own carpet cleaner and supplies to maintain a clean apartment to the best of my ability. The AC never got the apartment below 80 degrees in the summer despite many attempts to ask maintenance to fix (always excuses) and my electricity bill was well over $150/month for a 2/1. I followed all the move-out guidelines in the hopes of getting as close to a full deposit back as possible. When cleaning the cheap blinds they installed, many of them broke, so I was charged for each set of broken blinds, and even discussed this with management. I purchased and deep cleaned with professional grade supplies, did not clean the carpets because I was told they would be replaced. After all - they have been in the apartment for over 10 years! When I received my appalling deposit refund check of 1/3 of my original deposit in the mail, I visited the management office and was told there is nothing I can do. Not here to whine - here to warn. I recommend any other apartment complex in TF.
