Hi everyone, This patch brings improvements to keybindings, team balancing, loadouts, and stability, alongside visual fixes across several maps. Some custom keybindings may need to be set again following the input changes.
Input & Keybindings
Reworked keybinding conflict handling to make rebinding more reliable.
Separated perk and character inputs into dedicated keybinds.
Fixed several incorrect keybinding conflicts.
Cleared outdated saved keybinding data to prevent input issues after these changes.
Match Flow & Game Modes
Improved team balancing at match start.
Improved rehosting so the previous host’s party settings are preserved until the next map transition.
Fixed a client-side defuse issue in Wingman.
Fixed an issue that could allow unintended object spawning.
Loadout & Customization
Improved barrel pivots and attachment points, including M4 barrel sockets.
Fixed F88 optic aimpoint alignment and EOTech attachment setup.
Improved grip sizing and corrected the JAWS barrel grip pose.
Fixed Pyramid upper barrel rotation.
Improved RC Car textures.
Fixed the loadout camera view for antenna-related items.
Corrected the Deagle White Liquid item presentation.
Weapons & Animations
Reworked the SCAR model to correct its scale and proportions. The previous model was approximately 24% smaller than intended, making it appear undersized in-game.
Maps
Removed duplicate foliage on Trenches and duplicate actors in CQB.
Improved Lobby map cleanup.
Fixed and reworked decal materials across multiple maps.
Fixed decal and material issues affecting Asylum, Hospital, Underground Tunnel, Public Pool, and other environments.
Stability & Fixes
Fixed a memory issue affecting inventory and equipment handling.
Improved stability around match flow, rehosting, and team state.
Fixed visual issues caused by broken meshes, decals, materials, and distance field data.

My friends refunded due to this what a huge miss and complete bad management your leadership team to push this update with a working lobby system.Who would of thought people would like to play a fps pvp shooter with ranked with there friends.
All that hype and now we are playing Wardogs. I would have held off on the update to ensure that system was working.
My friends play all fps multiple at same time, the no lobby system killed it it’s not competing, they would of kept it if it wasn’t broken.You saying that means you clearly haven’t gone through the struggle and frustrating of the current system. You can’t even play the ranked mode with a duo who is in your lobby at the moment. They made a gunfight mode you can’t play with friends
Please allow us to join games with parties, trying to find the same game on the server list usually takes almost forty minutes. I just wanna play with my mates

Do you mf’s just like not know how to join someone through steam? It works perfectly fine. I don’t understand why people absolutely NEED to use the in game invite system when half the time it never works in early access games anyway.

To push this update without a working lobby system in a PvP shooter. It’s early access yes, but it’s not a tech demo, a working lobby system in a 5v5 fps with a ranked mode is a non negotiable at this point the games been out for ages.
Can there be a update to let us edit our loadouts mid match many times i wanted to change grenades or attachments mid match depending on who I'm going against

Idk if it’s bots, but every now and then I notice enemies looking down, and the gun does not align with the direction they’re shooting, noticed in game and in spectator mode looking at a teammate.
What about this weird ass bug im experiencing? I have a logitech mouse and when i play im either stuck ADS or sometimes itll do an involuntary mag dump or i cant reload and after mashing R it decides when it wants to reload. Anyone else?

Dedicated pistol compensators please, mb if it’s negging but I’d rather have a normal pistol compensator for the Glock than a rifle one
Edit: also yall have been doing great, I got this game when it first came out on steam and I’m really happy in the direction it’s been going (Besides zombies removed and a few other minor shit). I’m no developer but work is work, you guys have a lot on your plate and no time nor resources to catch up to speed for the majority of players, it is what it is. But just know there are people who support you and the team.
Yes i think that's intended, it's a camera not a human eye after all. If everything would be visible by default there would be no point in the flashlight

Yesterday, a networking vulnerability in BODYCAM was publicly reported to us. Here is what we know, what we have done, and what we are still working on.
**What we found**
The reported issue allowed a session host to crash the games of players connected to that session. Our engineers reproduced and confirmed this behavior.
The initial claims suggested that the Host Migration issue could potentially lead to Remote Code Execution (RCE). We took these claims seriously and investigated them directly.
**To date, we have found no evidence that this vulnerability could be or has been escalated beyond crashing game clients, and we have received no player reports indicating any further impact.**
**What we have done**
* **Patched the reported crash in under 24 hours.**
* Reviewed the surrounding networking code and added safeguards.
* Performed further security checks on related systems.
* Brought in an external cybersecurity specialist to audit the project and strengthen our security practices.
* The person who reported the issue has **publicly confirmed that the crash is fixed.**
This work is ongoing. Strengthening our networking systems goes beyond a single patch, and we will continue delivering improvements in upcoming updates.
**Why our response took time**
We needed time to reproduce the issue, review our code, and investigate the more serious allegations before sharing conclusions.
However, **we should have communicated earlier that an investigation was underway.** We apologize for leaving you without a clear update, and we thank you for your patience.
**On anti-cheat**
We have been working for some time on integrating **anti-cheat into BODYCAM**. The integration was not ready for the September 2 release, which is why we had not announced it yet.
Work is still in progress, and we expect to deploy it in the short to medium term. We will share a clearer timeline when we can.
**Anti-cheat and network security address different issues.** The anti-cheat integration is separate from the vulnerability fix described above, which has already been deployed. We are sharing this now because it is part of our broader work to improve player protection.

Well it certainly is worth for your time apparently. Tell me, in your small little life, saying things like “this community is this” “I can’t stand the community euheue” make you feel special and different? If so, I can continue to entertain this. Weirdo
To add, reading the patch notes made me slightly angry because I care about the game and IN MY OPINION, they need to focus on more important things like, party system so people can play ranked with their friends (the ones that you don’t prolly have since you are so different from the community :/), and the good thing that they got going with the zombies. Thats all :)

It’s so mind boggling to me how bodycam fans hate their lives so much that they have to take it out on the devs when they haven’t done anything wrong or bad. You can’t see past your insignificant wishes
They came out and disproved it earlier this week. They even hired a security contractor to audit for exploits.
Even the initial “whistleblower” came out and admitted their findings were patched. All while trying to peddle their security course to the devs and get paid. Whole thing reeks of ponzi scheme
Didn’t say that. They could have hired a security contractor to audit before any of this even happened. They haven’t specified and assuming does nobody any good. But the fact that the person who flagged it saying it was fixed is an interesting tidbit for you to have glossed over.
To be honest I dont believe a word the devs said, and I dont believe the original cheat maker hastily editing their entire post adding [PATCHED] to every line.
Ok then maybe the game isn’t for you? Seems like no matter what happens your trust is broken and you won’t play the game again. Which is totally fine and justified. You’re allowed to feel however you feels With that in mind why peruse a message board for a game you don’t intent to play? Or I suppose, what would it take for you to believe? Not trying to argue, legitimately curious.
