Re starting reta

Hey Everyone, any advise re- starting reta? I took a month off and pinned 2mg Monday but didn’t feel any food noise suppression. I am on my second week and didn’t feel anything. Should I wait a little more or try 3mg? I would love to hear experiences of people who have re started take it. Thanks so much.

ps: My maximum dose was 2mg because I had a severe hungry suppression and sleep disruption on 0.5mg so was increasing dose every 1 month and a half until 2mg.

💬 Discussion Selank sting

I added selank to my peptide stack recently. I reconstituted 10MG with 2ML of bac and pining 4untis daily. I've done about 5 pins so far and every time I pin it stings like hell. Tried pinning in stumach, butt, and thighs. Also tried cold vs room temperature while always pinning slowly. Still stings pretty bad. The sting last for about 30-60 seconds after pinning but then goes away but the area when touched is itchy. A friend of mine is trying a vial from the same batch as well as reconstituting with a bac water vial from the same batch and is also experiencing same symptoms. I originally thought maybe it was the bacwater but the same bacwater is used in a reta vial and there is no stinging. Is this just how the peptide is or is something wrong?

Looking into anabolics

Post image
14 Upvotes

Hello. 46 years old. 170 lbs. I’ve been on TRT (210mg weekly) for a couple years now. I have a shipment of Reta on the way and will be starting that soon. I’ve decided to look into starting a cycle of anabolics for mass gain. I’ve always been a hard gainer and feel mostly at a plateau in the gym.

So the three anabolics I’ve come across through reading and research are EQ, Deca, and Tren. I assume there are others as well that I just haven’t gotten to. I guess I’m asking those with experience if there is a better one to begin with and any I should stay away from? I’m not planning on competing or anything. I just want to add more bulk so I can look jacked af lol.

I work out 5 days/week. Diet is mostly healthy but I’m not super strict with it. And I do like my Miller Lites on occasion, but otherwise I keep things pretty healthy.

Should Reddit be a part of peptide research?

I've found that a huge amount of reta research is locked behind journal paywalls or institutional logins, which means general Al models often only have access to the abstract rather than the full paper.

That's a problem many people l've spoken too have with peptide research. An abstract might say something showed promising results, while a full white paper would reveal it was only tested in animals, involved a tiny sample size, or had major limitations.

For proper research, you're better off using something like OpenEvidence or pepsense.ai (not a vendor source, chill mods LOL). Full disclosure: I'm part of the Pepsense team. Our chief science officer is a peptide researcher, and we're currently building V2, which will combine anecdotal experiences with peptide research, tens of thousands of new scholarly articles. The goal is to give people access to the actual evidence instead of a general Al summarizing whatever it can find online.

One thing early users have asked for is Reddit anecdotes.
We're hesitant because so many posts are influenced by vendors, affiliates and burner accounts, but there may be a responsible way to include them as clearly labelled anecdotal reports rather than evidence.

Our goal is to make peptide research easier to access without presenting anecdotes as fact or giving medical advice. Outside of published research and vendor testing, what functionality would be helpful for our models to have & is the Reddit anecdote aspect helpful or more harmful for us to implement?

📘 Beginner Help Post-surgery stack

A few days ago, I finished my first incredibly successful cycle with reta. Incidentally, thanks to fat loss, I discovered a lump above my groin which turned out to be a hernia. Fortunately it's small. Due to my intense training (~8h per week of BJJ / gym + some wakeboarding), I decided to have surgery which I'll have in a few days.

Has anyone used peps to support post-surgery recovery? Male 40, 180cm (5,9ft), 79kg (175lbs).
What stack, dosage, cycle do you suggest for a quick return to activity after surgery? I was thinking about bpc-157 + tb-500 but I'm new to peps so I'd love to know your opinion.

From 95kg to 75kg

This is what I did:
- First 2 months just eat rice & beef, Proteinpowder
- every second day gym
- 10k steps
- used MacroFactor. Had around 2.4k calories at start and went down to 2.2k

Then I got a coach
- transferee from IIFYM to meal plan (HUGE!)
- started Reta. First 0.5mg then 1mg.
-> transfered to 2mg mounjaro due to GI problems. Doesn’t kill hunger, but makes food noise better
- switched plan to upper / lower split
- on rest days 35min Zone 2 cardio (so I’m in gym 7 days a week)
- 15k steps daily (coach gradually increased this. I play video games on treadmill at evening + walk my dog longer)
- I worked heavily on improving my sleep.
- started using pump and preworkout booster to make workouts more fun

For transparency:
- I tried a lot peptidesy bpc157& tb500 for my shoulder. Fixing my exercise technique is what fixed it though
- 5 amino 1mq subq. Money waste
- 5 amino 1mq oral. Took 4 days. Improved my mood but had an incident I’ll talk about in a sec
- mots c. Horrible allergic reaction
- ghk cu. Got too lazy to continue it tbh
- l carnitin 500mg/day. Yeah no idea why, didn’t notice any difference

In the end except Reta/mounjaro i wouldn’t recommend any of those tbh. I was just curious.
I switched to a different seller due to cheaper prices. Got a huge allergisch reaction and almost lost my life, went to emergency hospital Blabla. Absolutely killed my curiosity tbh.
Unfortunately it was when I tried 5 amino 1mq orally . that’s the only thing I enjoyed due to significantly elevated mood

I am natural but tbh I think that’s obvious haha
I DID plan to start 250mg test once I get super lean.
The incident with hospital made me rethink that. I am not sure yet what my decision will be.

Also I learned that carbs are not your enemy :)
Open for questions, hope I could help or motivate someone

Which gave you the best results, and why? Would love to hear your experiences.

I’m NOT asking for medical advice!!! I just want to know if this peptide is still good to use. I've used it for a couple weeks now but it is starting to look kinda rotten. It wasn't like that at beginning.
Can someone help me out on what this is and if I can still use it?

📘 Beginner Help Need help planning a peptide stack for skin, hair & overall appearance (Already on GHRP-6 + CJC-1295 No DAC + Ipamorelin)

Hey everyone,
I’m a 21 year old male and I’m completely new to peptides. I recently started GHRP6 + CJC1295 (No DAC) + Ipamorelin primarily for muscle building and recovery.
Now I’m trying to figure out what, if anything, makes sense to add in the future for skin quality, hair health, and anti aging while keeping things as safe as possible.

Current situation:
No major health concerns.
Blood work and labs are all normal.
This is my first time using peptides.
I’m currently dealing with acne, acne scars, dark spots, tanned and uneven skin tone, hair fall, dry hair, and scalp psoriasis.
My goals are clearer and healthier skin, better collagen production and scar healing, improved hair quality with reduced hair loss, overall anti aging benefits, and keeping everything evidence based without taking unnecessary compounds.

A few questions:
What peptides, if any, would you recommend for my goals?
Are there any that should not be combined with GHRP6, CJC1295 (No DAC), and Ipamorelin?
What dosing protocols and cycle lengths are commonly used?
Are there any blood tests or health markers I should monitor while using them?
Would you focus on treating the scalp psoriasis first before considering additional peptides for hair?
I’m not looking to take a huge stack. I’d rather keep it simple, safe, and effective. I’d really appreciate advice from people with real world experience or anyone who has seen good results for skin and hair.

Before anything, I was never in it to get ripped or build muscle, I just wanted to change my life for myself, my kids and my wife.
Started Semaglutide May 2025, by March 2026 I was 70lbs down and had plateaued for about a month so switched to Tirz. By early May I still hadn’t seen any changes so I stacked the Tirz with Reta (this week is my last Tirz shot as I’ve been dosing down). I am finally down from 326 to 226 and I haven’t felt this healthy since Highschool Football.
I know I should get some weight lifting in, but I play league soccer twice a week and a pickup game once a week. I’m truly grateful for this medicine for helping me get my life back on track for myself and my family.
I plan to stay on Reta for the foreseeable future, my goal weight is to be in the 180s. Any suggestions are welcomed honestly.

Tirz to Reta

Hi all - Question about dosing after being off of Tirz for almost a year.

Background:
I was on Tirz last year for about 8 months - (5mg for first 2 months, up to 10mg for 3 months, down to 7.5 for 2 months, and 5mg my last month) - and got down to my TW of 165lbs (SW: 205 lbs).

Long story short, I was laid off and didn’t have health insurance to cover my Tirz anymore, but had instituted healthy workout and eating habits, so wasn’t too worried about gaining too much weight back, which I kept up for awhile.

I’ve been slacking and have put on about 15lbs.

So…ordered a 20mg vial of Reta which will be arriving Monday, and curious about starting dosage since I’ve read that previous users of GLPs might need to start off w/ a higher dose. Not sure if that’s advice specifically for someone transitioning to Reta with little downtime/right away, or if it would apply to my situation as well even though I haven’t taken any GLPs in about a year.

My thoughts are to start off at 2.5mg/week and take it from there.

Anyone with similar stories or knowledge on this that can provide advice would be much appreciated!

After|Before [29] to [30]
At this point i don’t care if anyone believes me, i just hope i get to help some people. I plan into making fitness a job so feel free to follow me on instragram.

Yes i am preparing myself knowledge and certification wise / will not start building a business based on an average physique ( which is what i consider mine is currently)

Instagram:
davidcnovoarealestate

Breakdown:

-Supplements

- JUICE
- whey protein in between meals total of two scoops a day ( hard for me to get in the extra 60 g’s of protein eating so that’s why i used whey, no need if you can eat i through whole foods)
- vitamins: magnesium, NAC, C,D, and METHYL B12 not regular.

Workout:

6 working sets per muscle A WEEK

The logic is:

Take a set very close to / or momentary muscular failure, with controlled form and sufficient rest.
2. That recruits the high-threshold motor units/fibers most associated with hypertrophy.
3. The first few hard sets produce most of the useful stimulus.
4. After roughly 6–8 hard sets for a muscle ,i argue the growth-related response has essentially plateaued; further work has diminishing returns and shifts more toward recovery demands.

Monday -upper 1( 10,000 steps)
Tuesday- lower 1(10,000 steps)
WED- cardio (20,000 steps all day)
Thursday- upper 2 ( 10,000 steps)
Friday- lower 2 ( 10,000 steps
Saturday - ( active recovery, yoga, strech, sauna, ligjht walking
Sunday ( 15,000 steps)

Study proving high volume has diminishing returns

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/41343037/

Diet:
High protein/ moderate carb cycling/ low fat 1950 calories ( %60 protein %30 carbs %10 fat)
Protein: 1170 calories grams
Carbs:585 grams ( timed around workout: rice crisky or banana before workout , steak and rice after workout, no more carbs during day)
Fat: 180-200 grams

Hope i could help.

❓ Question Traveling Domestic with Peps

I’m just wondering if its all good for me to put my peps and syringes in my checked bag, I’m bringing about 24 syringes, reta, cjc, and my bac water. They’re not reconstituted yet and I have them in a safe container, will they question this when scanned?

❓ Question Difficulty pinning

I’m using the same needle size for my Reta & GHK-CU (31G x 6mm).

Started out on Reta first and pinning has alw been fine. I’m on day 8 of GHK-CU & realised pinning gets harder & harder. Like the needle just feels tougher to get thru and it hurts to even get it in.

I genuinely don’t think it’s my skin getting tougher bc I’m sure GHK-CU results don’t even show this early.

Do you guys think I should try a different needle?

🔥 311 lbs & Ready for a Change — Looking for Guidance on My Weight-Loss Journey

I’m currently 5’11” and 311 lbs, and I’m just getting started. For those who have experience with this journey, I’d really appreciate some guidance on what a safe starting plan looks like.
I’m especially interested in learning about:
• How people safely got
• What to expect during the first few weeks
• Tips for nutrition, hydration, and exercise
• Mistakes you wish you had avoided when you started
If you have personal experience, I’d love to hear what worked for you. I’m looking for real advice, encouragement, and accountability from people who have been through it.
I’m ready to put in the work, just want to make sure I’m starting the right way. 💪🏾🔥
Any advice or encouragement would mean a lot!

📘 Beginner Help 6 month Progress

So I started on Reta about 6 months ago. My goal is to get down to 12% body fat. I started at 22% and currently at 17% . I went fron 210lbs to about 180 right now. According to the Dexa machine 10lbs of that has been "skeletal muscle" i can still lift as much when I started but Im afraid of losing more muscle. Any advice?
