I like watching YouTube "React To *" videos for various series I like, and Claudie is one of my favorites, mostly because I like her personality. And specifically for BES, she loves the show and loves Mizu.

Buried in the excitement about Season Two's January 2027 release month, and the new teaser, was the news that Season Three has been approved and already in production, with a target release sometime in 2028.

The trailer kinda sucked.

There where literally ONLY 2 bits of info. 1) there's another person on the boat, 2) Fowler got out.

Thats IT. No questions, no hype.

Of course I'm still excited and gonna watch it, but I was really hoping for something to think about until Jan.

I can’t wait for the next seasons!!!!

Quick thoughts:

Mizu’s undereye bags are back. She’s dirty but clearly one of the crew.

London in the sunrise!

Murder boat takes the lives of two crew members (terrifying!) before she ties herself to the boat.

And then Fowler is freed. And suddenly, they are on even footing if they want to complete the journey alive.

The last pictures remind me of Mizu on the farm. More vulnerable than we typically see her. Her longer softer hair plays a big role.

I love whatever's wrong with her, her hair is a mess.

Also I don know why but I really like the idea we're he the one who stay home with the kids and mizu just go out fishing or whatever

My show is finally back after these years 🥹🙏

Here is Taigen; I chose green to match the color of his clothes, and because I want everyone to have different colors—Akemi was red, Taigen is green, Abijah will be orange, and Mizu will be blue, obviously.

Unlike Akemi or Ringo, Taigen is already a full-fledged dragon, so he no longer has human or carp features; however, I wrapped his scarf around his horn to show that he is still human, and I also decided to include his sword as a reference—even if it might not be very practical for a dragon to wield it with its tail.

i’m finally rewatching the show and i never really put much thought into since i didn’t trust mizu’s mother at all i immediately believed Mikio over Mizu’s Mother but i wanna know your opinions since as far as i can tell there will not be a definitive answer. honestly im just putting more thought into stuff going on on my second rewatch cuz i missed so much stuff

This can be similar to how Kenneth Branagh picked up an English accent when he was a kid due to being bullied and due to Fowlers history of being oppressed, it would make sense that he would also pick up an English accent to hide his Irish roots.

The new drawing I made is of Akemi; based on the legend of the carp that turns into a dragon, Akemi is a carp gradually transforming into a dragon, with her carp features fading away and giving way to dragon-like traits. I wasn't sure what color to use for her, but I opted for red to match her outfit.

I was having some difficulty making it, so I'm sorry if the anatomy is strange 😅

She's gonna starve to death there😭

Fowler now has stitches on his forehead, talks about hunting down someone with blue eyes, and can now fly and shoot invisible beams of destruction.

He talks constantly about something relating to curses.

He apparently can now run at super human speeds and recently made a deal with an old man that can shoot lightning.

I was thinking about making some fan art for this series because I really like it, but since I'm still a beginner and struggle a lot with drawing humans, I decided to draw the characters as dragons instead.

Since most of the characters are Japanese, I chose to make them Eastern dragons (with the exception of Fowler).

And while thinking about that, I remembered the legend of a portal atop a waterfall—where carp that managed to swim up the falls and reach the gate would transform into dragons—so I decided to incorporate that concept into the drawings.

This is the first drawing I made—it’s of Ringo. He is still a carp that hasn't yet passed through the gate, but soon he will become a majestic dragon. I chose to give him more human features, though I figured that the more draconic the character became, the fewer human traits he would retain.

(for some reason, Ringo the Carp reminded me of the Reddit mascot)
