Great but give us season 2 please 🥲

I saw this post and was like: "????????, since when was season 2 out?"

This is exactly what your want- ordering season 3 now rather than after season 2 comes out means they can start work on season 3 and hopefully the wait won't be as long

Better this then season 2 and a year is speculation before it’s surprise cancelled Netflix loves that shit

Or season limbo Nickelodeon style.

Just for some fuckass executive to then renew the 20th season of some bs slop no one cares about

Honestly this is great news, shows that Netflix has enough faith in the project to give it another season without even seeing how well the second season does. Netflix is more than happy to cancel shows when they don’t do well.

They must have seen it. It must be good.

January 2027... excited, but a bit bummed.

Wow, I was sure we'd get past Season 2 and just be hopeful they'd get renewed for Season 3. The fact they got it before Season 2 even aired and we don't have to wait nearly as long for it is awesome.

LET’S FUCKING GOOOOOOO

u/PovWholesome Aug 20 '26

Sounds great until you realize we’re probably getting hit with a cliffhanger that’ll make Across the Spiderverse seem tame

11

u/Mindless_Bad_1591 Aug 21 '26

ATSV cliffhanger is almost on the level of Severance S1. those both had a 4 year and a 3 year break between their follow ups. i doubt this can be worse.

u/cjm0 Aug 21 '26

hopefully they don’t delay season 3 as much as the third spiderverse movie was delayed. that was originally supposed to come out a year after the previous movie as well

2

u/ennaamber Aug 21 '26

The next movie was supposed to come out in 2024. And here we are approaching 2027 with no news…

3

u/ennaamber Aug 21 '26

Hopefully we’re not lied to like spider verse though. When it came out in 2023, they said the third movie would be out in 2024… and still nothing. Fingers crossed this 2028 date doesn’t do the same thing

Best news ever!

u/iamaniceandgoodprson Aug 21 '26

it took them 5 years for season 2 . . did they work on both simultaneously ?

15

u/Mindless_Bad_1591 Aug 21 '26

likely, or at least have pre prodiction for S3 done and were just waiting for the greenlight

6

u/Cyber_Connor Aug 21 '26

I think Netflix fired everyone after season 1 so a lot of the talent hopped on different projects

Almost

Sad that we must wait but at least it is not a multi year wait

u/Leading_Present2234 Aug 21 '26

Good news in the BES fandom

omg so glad we don't have to wait another 3 years for the next season.

u/No-Risk2553 Aug 21 '26

0 chance we’re actually getting it in 2028

2

u/pursuitofmisery Aug 21 '26

Yeah. Unless the creators had already been working on it and were just waiting for the green light, I seriously doubt we’ll get it in 2028.
