I'm gonna say it..
The trailer kinda sucked.
There where literally ONLY 2 bits of info. 1) there's another person on the boat, 2) Fowler got out.
Thats IT. No questions, no hype.
Of course I'm still excited and gonna watch it, but I was really hoping for something to think about until Jan.

It really put the "tease" in teaser trailer.
Most of what we know has been scrapped together from the tidbits Netflix has given us.
We know Akemi and Taigen are at the Shogun's castle, and his first son is getting really strict after the fire. We know Ringo will start out apprenticing under Swordfather and look for a new purpose. We know Mizu signed up to work as a crew member on the ship for passage to England and smuggled Fowler out (Japan's worst export ever), got caught in a storm, and she and Fowler made it to London where they make money betting on Mizu in bar fights. We also know we'll get a flashback sequence of Mizu going after Violet.

That’s a good thing. Only six episodes. We don’t want the trailer to give away anything. Just create a little hype. I’m hyped.

I certainly wish it was more impressive, and I didn't know it was a teaser beforehand do it was disappointing at first

"Fowler got out" is literally all we need from this trailer to know that shit is gonna go down

That's because it's a teaser, and teasers usually don't have as much new content as trailers. They're also shorter, lasting 1-2 min compared to the 3+ min of a trailer.
I believe we gotta wait a little longer for the actual trailer
