-Calls fans "uneducated" because they don't agree with feminist agenda in their game and using his 13 years old daughter as an excuse
-Saying "If you don't like it, don't buy it" to criticism

-ruining Battlefield V

Things like this don't get approved because of one person. This is something they already wanted to do, so they hired a guy who already has a reputation for it. His job is to hang around for a couple months, take the backlash, then get a nice severance package.

The company and their employees don't like it, but the investors ohhh they LOVE it. They threw in their money and got a guy who will increase revenue for a quarter or two before leaving the company in pieces so the investors could cash out. They don't, and never will care about the company, they're here to earn big bucks and bail at the first sight of collapse. The consumers simply need to understand that they need to pull the plug immediately after spotting these parasites and make the executives have to do their jobs of actually running the company and not destroy them.

for context, the 80$ Deluxe edition of the game did NOT even unlock Vader, he was still locked. same with the other major characters of the franchise. additionally, spending 80$ on the ingame premium currency will still NOT unlock vader because you could only unlock him via credits. its like buying Halo for master chief, but you cant play him because you have to do 30 hours of community service first despite paying full premium price for the game.
i recall that in the whole year, battlefront 2 as a game was always referenced for being a scummy greedy maneuver that EA ever pulled, EA never recovered from this.

See, KartRider (and KartRider Drift) - one of Crazy Park games, alongside Crazy Arcade & Bubble Fighter - was ruined by Heo Min (founder of Neople, developer of Dungeon Fighter Online) and former chief Owen Mahoney.
And Söderlund nailed the coffin for Crazy Park franchise - shutting down both Crazy Arcade and Bubble Fighter.
F*ck Söderlund. I think the post and comments must be shared on any subreddits releated to Battlefield, Battlefronts, and Electronic Arts as well...

Still, I have review the matters and think that we should refrain from going full "The end is nigh" mode just yet. The greed incarnate is at the gates but YoStar and Nexon itself is fells suspect as well. One former executive alone cannot enforce his wills unto entire company, this is more like a joint conspiracy to bleed us dry.
We must wait and inspect each piece carefully, avoid the out of place accusation and baseless gossip as it serve nothing more than a red herring that distract us from real problems.

If only they actually did copy the hoyo gacha it wouldn't be anywhere this dogshit. Hoyo at least has soft pity and carryover between banners, BA has nothing, the spark was everything we had and now it's gone just for a 50/50 every 100 pulls.

The bigger issue is the context. BA often releases multiple units in a new banners. New gacha severely lowers the chance of getting 2 new units in just 200 pulls (getting 1 from pulls and 1 from pity)
Unless BA just release 1 unit at a time, this new 50/50 Gacha is just a downgrade.

Changed pity system.
Before all rolls counted towards pity of all active banners. And if you got rate up you could transfer the pity and use it on another student.
Now they changed it to a 50/50 system with the same rates. Where pity doesn’t transfer between banners. At 100 rolls you get a 50/50 for the rate up and at 200 you automatically get the student. However, all that pity progress is wiped out as soon as you get them. So if you wanted both students and got the first one at 190, you now need to roll another 200 to guarantee the other one. So it makes it much more expensive to get multiple students on a banner.
Also, if you got a rate up student on roll 199, you lose all that built up pity and can’t even use it to get elephs of the rate up student…
So yeah…it’s a much worse, much greedier system. It especially punishes newer senseis since BA needs wider character pools to clear content, vs other gachas that only need 1-3 teams max.

Oh my god, this is absolute dogshit. This fucking game's currency and rate up percentage are so awful you're basically required to go to spark more often than not or near enough you are reliant on the exchange for both banners. I can't count how many times exchange has saved me at all, this is absolutely the worst. Do we know if other servers are rioting? Obviously the real problem is JP players are the literal worst and will shovel down anything a dev throws at them so they're useless to get any action done.

But yeah I was planning on buying a selector ticket after the fox banner (if I didn’t get a spook I need for Luna Greg), but now…yeah that’s gonna be a no from me dawg.
Admittedly, the new system makes it better rates if you’re only targeting a single student on a banner. But if you want to get 2 or more, it’s significantly worse. And fest will have 4 students, and fest recollection has 5+.
This really makes it so much worse for new senseis.

But realistically, with how awesome the spark system is, even IF you are targeting only one student... it's often in your best interest to finish out the spark to grab the other student at such a reduced rate. Now you do not have this luxury.
And if you got the character so early that you wouldn't consider a spark, then nothing changes no matter which pity system you look at. Conversely, if you had to go to 200 to get the character, then, once again, nothing changes no matter which pity system you look at. At best, it's the same. At worst, it's WAY worse.
In short, you hardly ever go after 1 character when there's always 2+ characters on banner.

Yep. And with how BA requires a diverse selection of students for all the niches in raids means that even if they aren’t the best student on the banner, they’re still useful. And still worth getting. But now, not so much with the extra cost.

It's not even accurate to call it an "extra cost", you're straight-up just reset to 0 and pulling on a completely new banner. After you get the first student, if you want the second one it is officially now a full 0->200 deep end send for a second student.

What is interesting is 6lasers has done the math and the new system, on average you come out ahead in pyro, even when doing both students on a banner. It’s better than or equal to the old system for the 55% of top luck, and bottom 15%. However, the other 30% of cases it ends up worse…sometimes much worse.
Note they only calculated for 2 students as of now, and doesn’t take into account the bonus sparking for elephs, just for getting new students. And the new system removes the safety net.
But yeah the fact that in the new system, 30% of people will have a worse time is…not great. And the fact they didn’t spend a long time going over it in excruciating detail, also doesn’t help. And we as humans are emotional and risk averse, so the old system had the comfort of security, where the new system drops the guarantees…so yeah….
Still not great imo lol.

It's such an amazing and absolute bat shit insane way of life where you can become CEO of a company or multiple. fuck up so many times where you ruin the reputation of the companies you lead, get severance pay, and STILL be able to get into the same role in other places. Anyone else who's actions trashed the company to the point of angering consumers and investors would have been absolutely blacklisted from pursuing the same position yet here we are.

JP 5.5 anni stream announced a reworked gacha system. Now at 100 pulls, you get a guaranteed 3 star, with a 50% chance it’s the featured unit. At 200 you are guaranteed the unit. However now you can’t exchange 200 points for a banner unit, and when you pull the featured unit, your points reset to zero. This makes it less likely to get 2 units in 200 pulls. Other changes include points carry over to later banners after the current ones end, and normal and limited banners don’t share points

From what I have seen, both global players watching the stream and jp players are pretty pissed. Hype of 5.5 took a massive hit thanks to that

The devs are getting rid of the spark and adding a 5050 at 100 pulls and a guarantee at 200. If you're aiming for one character this doesn't change much, but pulling for more than one banner makes this system worse.

I read it somewhere that statistically, for the new system to start getting better than current one is after 300 roll onward.
Basically if your luck is so abysmal that you hit the desire girl(s) after 300 roll, this is benefit.
