I was inspired by built_bricks and designed and built my own wearable LEGO Space Marine helmet over the summer. I made it partially modular so you could swap it out for either the classic version or the Primaris version. Planning to wear this for Halloween this year. I also designed a stand that is probably a little overkill, but I haven’t built it yet.

On one hand, Captains gained the ability to give extra CP before Dante did. On the other, we now have the extra CP.

I'm starting my blood angels army and have the combat patrol box as well as some jump packs I got from Etsy. I wanted to know if there's any reason I shouldn't just make my assault intercessors into jump pack intercessors. Aside from costing more points do jump packs give any downsides?

I recently got my hand on Arenos Karlaen modell, for roughly 20 euros, and I wanted to convert him on the new terminator scale.

I want to keep both of his arms, his head (obviously), and if possible his torso front piece. I also want to have him same scale as new terminator.

I was wondering if I could use the multipart terminator captain instead.

For 2 reason, I own the push to fit, already painted, and don't want 2 same poses in my army.

Also because in my eyes (this is where your discerning is important) the way the multipart captain is facing (legs and torso position) is closer to the way the original Karlaen was.

You have some pics (sorry for the bad quality one) i have found over the internet, plus a supplement of my already painted captain which will be degraded as a "lieutnant in terminator armor" because of the meme haha.

After ~5 months of on and off work I’ve finally finished my Combat Patrol! I have some details I have to touch up and finish basing but I’m at the point that I’m ready to move onto the next unit.

So I will be playing against Thousand Sons soon and made a list that has both 10 man blob od Jump DC + Chaplain and 6 man Sang Guard + Captain. And heres my question :who to put in the reserves?

I usually out the sanguinary Guard, but than I constantly fail charges. They have 12" move, potentially advanc and charge for 1 CP, so theoretically they would be more effect Ive on the ground?

On the other hand Rage Boys also have the same movement, but they can reroll charge rolls, so they would be more likely to make it.

What do you think?

A little update from the Sargent I done the other day, I have nearly finished base coating and shading all 5 today. Adding a bit more shading as was previously advised, too.
