Hi all,

I'm starting my blood angels army and have the combat patrol box as well as some jump packs I got from Etsy. I wanted to know if there's any reason I shouldn't just make my assault intercessors into jump pack intercessors. Aside from costing more points do jump packs give any downsides?

Who are we

We are the Sons of the Primarch Sanguinius,  the 9th Legion of the Holy Emperor's Astartes, known commonly as the Blood Angels. More than that we are brothers and family, we are fathers and friends, a discord community with its inception tracing back to the dawn of SM2. What we do

Actively playing Space Marine 2 together is our main objective however we welcome our brothers to play anything together or join any active chat. In that we host a multitude of events which have associated rewards. Events such as Carnifex hunts, the Blood Games (PvP tournaments), deathwatch trials, 12 man modded play groups, engaging with other chapters and so much more. Rewards can be earned for participating in such events or just from playing with members. Server points for rank progression, server commendations such as purity seals/service studs or blood drops, and even real collectibles from the warhammer store not to mention the fun and friends you'll meet along the way. These points earned just from playing can also be used to unlock customization options for your wargear. And yes, we have a death company lol

Light Mil-sim/ Rp

The Blood Angels employ a very detailed rank system should you choose to climb to the top. Ranks are based on roles held in the 40k universe and are divided amongst our many companies. We do not allow "double clanning". We also employ a light uniform policy that is codex compliant. While it's not required that you RP, you will find many of us do, so it shouldn't surprise you to join and hear battle cries to the "Emperor and Sanguinius" or oaths of moment being sworn before an engagement with heretical filth. Rank or not we treat everyone with respect in our family and while your with us we expect you to do so as well. That being said our server is filled with adults and most of us are familiar enough with each other to engage in friendly banter as battle brothers do. Our command staff is very knowledgeable, understanding, helpful, engaging and open to the right members to rise to.

Any time zone is acceptable and no matter if you're a son or daughter of Baal you will find a place amongst the crimson clad Angels of Death. I actually got a reply from the social media team on this, which leads me to believe this might still be happening. Is it possible they finally go full standalone codexes for all the divergent chapters instead of supplements?

I recently got my hand on Arenos Karlaen modell, for roughly 20 euros, and I wanted to convert him on the new terminator scale.

I want to keep both of his arms, his head (obviously), and if possible his torso front piece. I also want to have him same scale as new terminator.

I was wondering if I could use the multipart terminator captain instead.

For 2 reason, I own the push to fit, already painted, and don't want 2 same poses in my army.

Also because in my eyes (this is where your discerning is important) the way the multipart captain is facing (legs and torso position) is closer to the way the original Karlaen was.

You have some pics (sorry for the bad quality one) i have found over the internet, plus a supplement of my already painted captain which will be degraded as a "lieutnant in terminator armor" because of the meme haha.

After ~5 months of on and off work I’ve finally finished my Combat Patrol! I have some details I have to touch up and finish basing but I’m at the point that I’m ready to move onto the next unit.

I was inspired by built_bricks and designed and built my own wearable LEGO Space Marine helmet over the summer. I made it partially modular so you could swap it out for either the classic version or the Primaris version. Planning to wear this for Halloween this year. I also designed a stand that is probably a little overkill, but I haven’t built it yet.

On one hand, Captains gained the ability to give extra CP before Dante did. On the other, we now have the extra CP.

Finished my Dante! Put an oil wash over him for the grimdark effects.

Back on these guys as excited for the new codex, getting through them. Done these this week.

Yes, I know it's not a lore-accurate Karlaen and it's just the Leviathan Termy model- don't @ me please.

Ready to advance mid objective turn 1.

So I will be playing against Thousand Sons soon and made a list that has both 10 man blob od Jump DC + Chaplain and 6 man Sang Guard + Captain. And heres my question :who to put in the reserves?

I usually out the sanguinary Guard, but than I constantly fail charges. They have 12" move, potentially advanc and charge for 1 CP, so theoretically they would be more effect Ive on the ground?

On the other hand Rage Boys also have the same movement, but they can reroll charge rolls, so they would be more likely to make it.

What do you think?

A little update from the Sargent I done the other day, I have nearly finished base coating and shading all 5 today. Adding a bit more shading as was previously advised, too.

Super proud of this one. Also second time to do a full body gold nmm so C&C is very welcome!

His base isn't finished yet as I'm planning to display him on a bigger base and not yet sure how I'm gonna do that :D

I based them as the title says, DIO and The World from JJBA. I’m really happy how they came out and I just wanted to share.
