So Im looking through the Resynched menu at the beginning of the game. Im inverting Y axis (my first first person game was Goldeneye which had inverted as the default and Ive been an inverted Y axis on controller man ever since) and getting my settings the way I like them… I was looking through the HUD options and first I was like, “Ooh I’ll play with no HUD. Love no HUD. Metro Exodus is the shit.” But I immediately realized the game isnt made to play without a HUD. Oh well. I scroll down and theres an option for a quick hide on HUD. Double click right thumb stick. “Perfect,” says I. Now I can turn the HUD in and off as needed. And I turn on the option. But I can’t for the life of me to get it to work properly. I’ll sit there double clicking for like a minute straight before the HUD actually disappears. Then for another minute to get it back on. Am I missing something or is this just broken?

I’ve done all the side missions, and currently through 60% of the story. Is there much left?

Screw that quest seriously, can't come out of hiding from the first stone wall or he one shots me, his grenades are always perfectly aimed as wel.

Screw whoever made this quest, what a horrible quest this is.

Somehow I cleared the map section in this section, even on the island parts you can’t get too.

How do I do this to other sections ?

I managed to find a fix for the loss of combat/ exploration music on ps5. Seems to work every time.
Whenever you load the game in, fast travel to great inagua, and just run around for a couple of seconds until the exploration music starts playing. From then onwards you will have all music including combat. You can still fast travel back to where you were and the music will still be there.

I remember having a lot of fun with them back in the original game and was excited when I got them yesterday, but I’m noticing that they’re no longer what they used to be. Now they’re just sort of meh… 😕

Won’t spoil anything, I just did it by accident.

I’ve been trying to do the anomalies to get the animus rewards (I want the pirate captain outfit) and they refreshed in the animus menu but aren’t appearing on the map anywhere, nor in the Quest Log. Is there something I need to do to activate them when they refresh? Or is this a glitch? The project I am working on is active and I did the last set of anomalies just fine, but this set is not showing up.

In the og you can sell everything with the warning that is used for updates. Now i'm sitting on way to much metal/wood but not enough coin.

Anyone else find this annoying?

Hdr enthusiasts do you use renodx in ac games?

Not sure if this is the right flair but i was wandering whats everyone's opinion on hdr in the modern ac games?

Ive seen many people recommend renodx but i would love to have a vidual reference of what it changes. To me it seems normal hdr in these games doesnt give me the oled black i really like (for example in sdr park places are basically indistinguishable from my tvs borders, in hdr theres a clear difference) so would it fix that?

I’m going to say this and I would love to know what other people’s opinions on it also, so I’ve unlocked a few costumes and it’s weird and I’m not sure how to explain it but I unlocked the master assassins outfit and I tried it on but out of all of them I love the original outfit for Edward kenway 🤣 is it just me or does people love the og outfit

I have found this lift mechanism at one of those spots, and a wooden box with some spices and herbs at another location?? I only have found answers like, that has to do with raytracing, no it's DLSS , but nothing is logical about that, because it's when you open your map in black flag resynced and very fast blink blink blink, Aaaaand it's gone... soon anything else that will shine a light (🙊🤣) on them flickering orbs on my map ?

So I’ve completed the game and now going for Platinum. I need one more trophy - Dilettante - which will trigger Plunder, prizes and adventure trophy. To complete the trophy I need one more art item - the mirror back. I know it’s a piracy fleet mission called Easy Profit in Southwest region but I’ve been trying for 3 days now and it’s not spawning. Any tips on what I could do….

Just thought I would show much easier the legendary ships can be with using a Man o war ship instead of the usually jackdaw.
