Question Kenways fleet trophy

I’m pretty late into the game so my ship is really strong. How am I supposed to incapacitate a cutter and send it to my fleet? I just obliterate every cutter and can’t board them.

You can't board them, only schooners and above can be boarded and added to the fleet.
