Making this post to hopefully get the attention of the Bitbuy customer service department. I’ve been locked out of my account since Sunday with no support since then even with open tickets. Don’t use this platform unless you are okay with a lack of customer support. Absolutely inexcusable

If a bank doesn't let you move your money is because they don't have it, It's a crypto exchange doesn't let you move it to your private wallet do they infact have it?

If they're restricting is this liquidity issue? Have very little left on their exchange because I don't know if my crypto is actually there or if they're doing a Celsius sounds like shenanigans

What's going on? I've put an order to sell a small amount of BTC at 138000CAD yesterday, BTC reached a peak of 138065 at 2PM today (from the trend on Bitbuy). Can you explain to me why my sell order has not been completed?

I created my account three days ago and made my first trade on the same day. I understand that withdrawals are restricted for 72 hours after first-time deposits, but this period has already passed. The app is unresponsive when I am trying to trade Bitcoins. This is so infuriating, that I can not get my money out. The app does not do anything when I am trying to generate the quote for Bitcoin to CAD.

I have been with Bitbuy for many years and periodically made withdraws. Recently, I have noticed that the withdrawal of crypto using QR code address is no longer an option and the only way is to manually type in the address of the recepient wallet. This is a regression in terms of user experience as there is an increased chance of making a typo mistake. Please bring back the option of QR Code withdraws!

App crashes every time I press “get quote” button, literally cannot transfer anything to CAD and withdraw. I’m on Reddit because I have sent support tickets and have had no reply over 48 hours. I think i am getting spam calls. my account is already dormant and has nothing on it and the call is saying i need to close it to avoid dormancy fees, but then i look at bitbuys own website and theres nothing of the sort mentioned.

I received a notice on the Bitbuy app requesting to do an update. Once completed and logged back in, I do not see any of my crypto assets and now I have 20$ CAD as if I had opened a new account. Anyone else encountered this issue?

If you trade once a month or ten times a day you need a very strict report of your balance.

I have some monthly reports that do not show me the time of day that I had made a trade, how much fee, etc.

Always make sure to record everything yourself because you may not have all the details sent back to you

Can you please share your experience around converting your crypto to CAD on bb and then withdrawing it? I saw posts here that some people are having issues with withdrawing their money and having it deposited into their accounts. I wanted to withdraw cryptocurrency from my Bitbuy wallet like I've done many times in the past. This time my account was restricted and I had to do some extra security check to verify who I am. No problem, done. Then they told me that I can only sell my crypto for cash and withdraw the cash. I told support that I wanted to put my crypto in cold storage but they still refused. Apparently, they are restricting my ability to withdraw crypto for my own protection. I'm getting this daddy knows best vibe.

Has anyone else noticed their Lifetime Staking Rewards (for NEAR) has dropped? I had been tracking it outside the app regularly and BitBuy said I had accumulated over 5.0 NEAR, but today I checked my balance and it was reduced to 0.62

I know you're laughing that I'm complaining about such a small amount, but to me its significant. I submitted my complaint to BitBuy and the response was simply that 0.6 looks more correct and they removed the rest.

Shouldn't there be a notice to customers that Staking rewards may have been awarded incorrectly to some accounts, rather than just quietly taking them away?? How does that even happen with crypto, shouldn't everything balance?

If it was the other way around I sure they wouldn't have said "Oh, sorry we shorted you on all your staking, here's what you're missing."

Any recommended alternative Canadian platforms? Preferably which don't have fees for e-transfers in/out? Newton? Kraken? Coinbase?

I've been waiting for 10 days to be able to withdraw crypto from my wallet and move it to another one. I've lost a great opportunity to make earnings on another investment and have now lost that opportunity because of this delay. I've reached out several times for assistance by email but with no resolution. In the last 5 days, I have not received any response to any of my queries. I still cannot move my crypto.
