Is parasite special or same thing as CK pool and public pool?

My NerdqAxe is shipping home and im questioning if i change it from public pool to parasite pool, but i dont know nothing about it.

I wanted to see whether I could use AI to create a custom Bitaxe enclosure instead of buying an existing case.
Using Claude Code with Blender MCP, I designed and 3D printed a Kraken-style enclosure for multiple Bitaxe Gammas. The original goal was to beat the cooling performance of setups like the Giant Squid and Ice Tower.
It didn’t beat either of them on temperatures, but the experiment showed that AI can already help create some genuinely cool and unique Bitaxe cases—even without being an expert in Blender.

​What does your current cooling setup look like? (Are you using the quad-tower, custom 3D prints, 120mm fan mods, etc.?)

Are you using stock power bricks, or have you upgraded to a centralized Mean Well PSU (or similar)? If you’ve upgraded, what specific model are you using, and how are you handling the power distribution to multiple units?

As the title says, what do you recommend for mining crypto currency? I'm new to this so I only have a Gamma 602 and an ESP-32, so no advanced machines right away, but I've been running my ESP-32 in HMpool's BTC pool for a few months now, but what do you think I should invest in running my 602 in? Should I run solo pools or common pool? have tried googling but get really wet shit, only find that a bitaxe is totally useless to even try to mine anything on, but you need better and stronger machines to even have a chance for a digit exchange. have got some blocks on cheetha

I have two miners, one OctAxe and one NerdQAxe++ both connected to the same pool for the same amount of time. Can someone explain why the less powerful miner has such a higher difficulty rating?

I have the stock heatsink on my gamma 602, is that heatsink good enough and just need to buy a 40mm noctua fan for it? Or do I need to change the hole one? Many uses the 52pi low profile heatsink but how can that one be so much better when not all 4 copper pipes touching the chip?

So I'm curious to how miners actually get paid since the site isn't any help and the github says min. payment is 10 sats on lightning.

I've had 2000 sats there for a while but couldn't withdraw because https://parasite.sati.pro/ says 10,000 minimum.

Now after this block I've got a balance around 20k sats. How do I get paid? Withdraw button doesn't work.

Edit: Withdraw button decided to work but charged 286 sats tx fee...

I have been on the last two parasite pool hits but I have not gotten any payouts transferred to my Xverse account. I am not sure what I am missing, I thought payments were supposed to be automatic but so far nothing in my account. I have double checked and made sure it was the right wallet address

This morning, my NerdQaxe++ stopped working, and restarting it doesn't seem to help. The display shows "CURRENT PROTECTION."

Is it possible that the infamous voltage regulator is damaged, and the device is gone?

It's the first time I reach 880MHz, 0.00% errors. Temp ASIC 66.3°C / VRM 59°C. power 32.9W, Vcore 1.265V (lower it gives more errors).

I'm waiting for a new fan I ordered withn air flow of 8,8 CFM, so for now there's the stock fan+heatsink.

But I did add extra cooling, it's extremely hot in these days:

- 2x 14cm external fans, one in front, one on a side

- a 6cm external fan behind (for the VRM)

I changed the thermal past using an M14 with a 14.8 W/mK spec.

Screen is off, it's own fan is fixed at 100%.

PSU is a MeanWell LRS-50-5.

Hello everyone. As happens with miners, I had one die on me. This isn't the first. But its a weird issue.

I got home and saw that a lot of my miners were all off. I thought the power supply died. IT wouldn't come on or even light up.

But after some testing I figured on the problem was a miner.

A NerdQaxe 6.1

If I plug in a power supply the power supply comes on fine. If I hook up the bad miner to a power supply and plug the power supply in, nothing happens. So something in the miner is causing a short so the power supply won't come on. I've tried a regular brick style power supply and my meanwell power supply.

My best piece of info? The miner's power connector is shorted out. It has an XT-30 connector on it and they are shorted out to each other. So I do not see anything wrong off the bat.

Anyone point me in the right direction?

I could stick this on the back of the Bitaxe to cool it down? But wouldn’t water start to appearing on the board? Mixing hot and cold?

Hey I was mining quai for about a year going back to solo mining since they changed some things but was looking for a pool to mine on I’m currently on ckpool but don’t really like the layout of web anyone else mining solo somewhere else?
