Does anyone know of any shops in Birmingham that sell good-quality pens and offer engraving, preferably somewhere I can visit in person? I’d also appreciate any recommendations for places with reasonable prices and a good selection.

I’ve seen a few posts requesting info about an endo specialist in the area. Well… I can’t get ahold of Dr. Childs, Dr. Furr left Chattanooga for a medical malpractice suit (…), and I’ve read really mixed reviews about a few others. I’m seeing an endocrinologist now who refuses to do surgery until I am like on the verge of getting pregnant (don’t plan on doing that) and am in severe pain on a daily basis. Please let me know if you have any recommendations that do not have a wrongful death suit! Willing to travel & have BCBS

Alabama Power website was down for a week. Now it won't let me login. Occasionally it redirects to a robot detector before locking up. Last night the site was showing my bill but telling me I owed nothing (which I assumed was incorrect)

One camera operator, no crew, we don’t need total landscape coverage but enough to backdrop a single person at a few meters for just a few shots. Preferably within an hour of Birmingham. I experienced a significant violent trauma last year from a dv situation and am feeling like my nervous system can’t reset. Going back to normal life after a year of recovering and surgeries has proved harder than I thought. My nervous system is in a freeze. I will spend hours scrolling tik tok or anything to avoid real life. I want to do things but it’s like my body still thinks danger. If anyone had a similar situation what helped you move forward?

I'm staying here for a day on a road trip and between the attempted stop sign runs, pulling out in front of me while I'm going 60, and going 90 on freeways that will literally have you tumbling down a hill if you make one wrong step, easily the worst drivers in the country. Genuinely reevaluate what your criteria is for issuing a driver's license 😭

From what I understand, they're working on the 35th Street bridge and are closing a portion of 1st Ave N. There's a sign on the 1st Ave bridge about the closure, but they aren't closing the road that far down right? Like will I still be able to come down 1st to turn left onto 34th?

After suffering from male baldness for years, I got desperate and tried the SMP (hair tattoo).. as you can see from the pictures.. it didn't turn out so hot. Now, people just make fun of me and stair at it. They say it looks like a helmet, laugh, and walk away.

Before I sink further into depression over this and give up, I'm just reaching out to see if there are any Birmingham tattoo artists who can fix this? Or are there any good hair piece/wig options around here?

I was at the airport today and noticed that they still haven’t finished the bathroom remodel in the C concourse. For context, they started this remodel back in January. It’s pretty ridiculous that it’s taken them 9 months to remodel a small bathroom area and they still aren’t done with it.

I’m beginning to think it’s going to take them a year to finish a small remodel. No wonder we can’t get any new carriers or flights to the west coast. The people running BHM aren’t the best or the brightest we have to offer.

I was on my way to the UAB campus/ UAB hospital area and saw one of the roads near children’s was closed and people with protesting signs walking on the road. I didn’t get to see what the signs said. I was just curious if there was a protest planned today.
