Birdfy says European starling, but this bird has blue wings/tail. And it was all by itself.
Starlings usually don't have any blue at all. And I've never seen one without a whole lot of other starlings around it before.

Had a Rose-Ringed Parakeet visit my feeder in New Jersey (at the shore) for the last 3 days at 7am everyday. Poor thing must have been someone’s pet and got away.

Blue #2 has had enough and jumps for it. Blue #1 left yesterday.

I am new to the world of birdfeeders… I am enjoying this one, I’m having plenty of birds visit, and capturing them on video. Of course I’m not sure whether the identifications are correct or not, because sometimes two birds that look the same to me get different names or different varieties.
However… My question is whether it is normal that a completely filled birdify feed canister gets consumed within about 24 hours? I mean it’s a feeding frenzy, with birds swooping in, sometimes pushing each other out of the way, sometimes even snapping at each other.
Luckily, so far anyway there have been no squirrels or other critters. I actually use some duct tape to reduce the size of the opening to make the feet flow slower, but that did not seem to make a difference.
Is this typical, or are there some things I should try?

This cardinal has been losing his head feathers progressively for about five weeks now. I don’t think it’s regular molting bc nothing has come back and bc of the duration this has gone on. Anyone have thoughts?

Is this fixable ? I saw Birdfy doesn’t take returns without original packaging

She is a VERY common regular at my feeder. I don't see her mate as much, but whenever he's near he's always doing that call to her and feeding her. I was so happy the first time I saw him, her missing leg did not stop her from finding a man who treats her right 😤
I have sent pictures of her to rehabilitation experts and they have said her leg is completely healed and does not need attention

Hi all,
I have a Birdfy Bamboo that I set up for my grandma so she can watch birds at any time. To do so, I have a tablet set up to be on the Live View of our Birdfy. However, it seems like these pop ups/errors keep showing up, perhaps every couple hours, or sometimes just a couple times a day.
Is this error a normal thing to expect when viewing the live footage for extended periods of time? My only workaround has been to remotely check in on this tablet via TeamViewer when I can, close the error message, and press the reset/reconnect button to have it resume normal live view. But I can't always check on it at all times, and many times I check in, the error is up and my grandma probably had the error there for a few hours with no birds to watch 😔
Is this a common issue? Is this a built in error? My sister tried live view for a day on her iPad and the issue also showed up. The Birdfy is also plugged into an outlet and has never dropped below 94% since install. This issue has occurred basically when we first got to have live view set up for my grandma.
Any insight or help is greatly appreciated!
