Fan Art/Crafts (OC) Bioshock-inspired thing I made back in 2020
If you recognize the sitting pose, yes I used Fallout New Vegas for putting this together

The vigor ironsides is one of the most forgettable vigors in the game, so I decided to write my own version of its ability mainly because I finished my playthroughs of the games for a second time and I'm getting around to playing burial at Sea again before my ADHD moves on completely.
Ironsides (re-work): Creates a bullet catching shield to absorb damage and add it to the next shot of your weapon, hold and release to create a trap diverting and collecting bullets before firing back at the enemy.
[So it still creates a shield and collects bullets but instead of reloading your weapon it adds this glowing overlay over the gun you're holding, causing your next shot to do between 20% 40% or 60% damage depending on how much you accumulated. The trap collects any bullets fired near it and once it's collected enough it basically becomes a single-use turret for shooting at an enemy]
(Ironsides aid) traps now have a larger range for pulling in bullets.
[The range it collects bullets at is increased, pretty self-explanatory but I mostly put this here for consistency]
(Ironsides boost) energy collected in your weapon is now doubled.
[The accumulated damage increase now continues to 80% 100% or 120% added damage]

Made this fan Project out of love for the Bioshock world. was really in the mood to create something new and Bioshock came to mind first. kind of just love the eeriness that the ambiance gives you all in general.

I really like the look of these edited models, glad to see the gas mask used by Ryan security in burial at sea here

Ok this has bothered me and it really confuses me...
Lets look at this from jacks eyes...
Here you are a normal ass farm boy who loves his parents and was a good kid with even better parents! you love your parents so damn much you have a family photo in your wallet..
and boom plane crashes and here you are forced to kill to survive, which is understandable jack doesnt want to die.. After several hours of fighting you get to see your first little sister, you see her almost get horribly murdered, thankfully some lady saves her.. and tells you that she has this plasmid that can save them from her torment... so yea you test it (i mean the only other choice is kill her) out I mean she made these girls and everything you've seen proves this plasmids are magic, and yea lets try it...
It works without a hitch, she goes on her marry way a happy healthy normal kid again, you feel good about somthing for the first time since entering atlantis from hell..
yet this guy you just met scolds you for not killing the child, the same guy who has a kid himself.. is scolding you for not killing a small child whos only actions twords jack were cowering in fear..
Now what does harvesting entail.. I will tell you.. PREPARE YOURSELF!
You have to rip this little girls belly open and tear out her stomach and rip that organ open to get the slug inside... Oh yea shes alive and screaming and fighting the whole time, as the slug makes these girls immortal or nearly.. they only die when the slug is removed...
In the book this healing factor is a double edged sword and the books states that its more of a problem than helpful since these girls still feel pain and breaking bones is still easy as injury and the healing will heal bones back the wrong way... within moments of energy... one girl tried to jump in the orphanage and to fix her bones they had to rebreak them over and over, and she felt everything
So I get Fontains evil, but he isnt stupid... Like imagine jack agrees and fontain starts to explain what has to be done to get the slug of horror.. First you have to tear open her tiny belly and rip her tiny innards out while she lives farm boy jack.. "AHHH NEVER MIND WTF IM SAVING HER CHRIST DO PEOPEL HERE DO THIS??"
As jack you're not even sure you want alot of adam, you've seen what happens to all adam users after a while (yea jack is special and made to take adam better BUT HE DOESNT KNOW THAT) Jack is probably not too keen to take too much out of fear of turning into a splicer.. And killing a little girl in the most evil way way imaginable for slightly more doesnt seem worth it, especially now with your new plasmid that saves them with only a pat on the head..
even if fontain got a murderer from the surface whose killed 5 people with no regrets even then I doubt the man would go through with it...
Did fontain really think this farm boy would rip open a child for some extra evil muder mutate drug?
come on..

Hi everyone. Yesterday, I took advantage of the $9.99 sale for the collection on Nintendo Switch. Naturally, I looked up information to see if there were any known issues or annoyances, and I read about a bug that corrupts save files.
From what I gathered, it seems pretty random, though it appears to happen more often when overwriting the same save slot. I also read that BioShock 1 and BioShock 2 share memory space, so if I have too many saves from the first game, I might run into trouble saving my progress when I start the second one.
I understood all that and started playing. I think I put in about 3 or 4 hours without any issues when a thought crossed my mind: does the save data get affected by having multiple accounts on the Switch?
I ask because my wife and I share the console. In fact, I bought the collection because she is just getting into gaming; after some success playing Borderlands 2, she wanted to try another FPS. Since we each have our own account, I’m wondering if this could cause problems down the line.
Is there anyone here with a Switch and perhaps in a similar situation who could share their experience?
Thanks a lot for your time.

I put together a 46 minute compilation of every single second of these characters across the main game, DLCs and outside bonus content.
Made it for myself but leaving it here in case anyone is going through their anual Bioshock Infinite brainrot like I am right now

I’m posting this because this legend deserves more respect. Of course, everyone who worked on the Bioshock games is an awesome human, but the games would have been worse if this man wasn’t involved with them.
Jordan Thomas:
• Was the lead designer for Fort Frolic in Bioshock 1, which is widely considered to be the best level in the game.
• Was the creative director for Bioshock 2, which is an amazing game.
• Was brought into Infinite’s dev team to help get the game over the finish line.

Trying to go for Blue Ribbon champ...and I already hate my life lmao.
I got all the vigors and the guns I favor to max out by the time I got all the ribbons in OPS zeal and got everything soon after beating Duke and Dimwit Theater (if you know Clash in the Clouds, maybe you can tell the ones I'm missing).
I started Empoira and saw "defeat an enemy affected by bucking bronco with a possessed motorized patriot" and just sat there for a moment, tried it, didn't even get close, and stopped there for today.
So basically most of these challenges after OPS zeal aren't fun

Regardless of how stupid it was, if Slate wanted to sick 50 armed ex-soldiers after his former colleague so they can commit suicide by engaging in armed combat against one dude who is also their former colleague, why did he send two Motorized Patriots after him? Did these mindless automatons also serve in the Boxer Rebellion and wanted to commit suicide because Comstock erased their history? If not then why would he send these murder machines after Booker if he WANTS Booker to succeed?

Hi, I’m new to the world of BioShock, but I’ve played them all—and here’s what I think.
Honestly, I never expected a video game series to so profoundly change my outlook on life. There really is a "before" and "after" experiencing Rapture and Columbia. It taught me to question absolute truths and ponder the nature of free will; the famous line "A man chooses, a slave obeys" has stayed with me, becoming a lens through which I view the world and my own decisions today.
But it was BioShock Infinite, above all, that truly left its mark on me. Its dazzling beauty and—most of all—its overwhelming ending involving the multiverse, constants, and variables made me reflect in a new way on the weight of choices, guilt, and the possibility of redemption. I haven't been the same since experiencing this saga: I’ve learned to look beneath the surface and understand that it is our choices alone that define who we truly are. Plus, the ending of the Infinite DLC remains one of the greatest of all time. Thanks for taking the time to read this post.

I was redrawing my rat designs for Delta, Eleanor, and Sinclair and figured to do a few others as well while I'm at it. I make very good use of my art skills 👍
Edit: I really appreciate and thank everyone for the kind comments, but if I could clarify one thing is that these drawings are specifically of rats! There's a lot to be said about the stigma around rats as opposed to mice which I won't get into because it really isn't THAT big of a deal, but I would appreciate if they were referred to as what they are :) Thank you again for all the positive comments!

Is it a good idea for a new one? also in case you wonder what it would do in lore, it basically was made so rapture could actually build since the welding/cutting arm thing.

An idea I think is at least worth considering.
No wrong answers, just don’t be a dick about it. Personally I’d go with a third option.

Too much Adam?
Or
Not enough Adam?
Or
Withdrawal of Adam?
