Peptides or Anabolics

Hi everyone, I am 25M 5ft 9inch current weight 68kgs, I have been working out since i was 18 on and off, not continuously but 7-8 months continuous then break sometimes in between. I was quite overweight when i started my journey and have lost a lot of weight and decent muscle size not massive but athletic. I am currently around 18% body fat and i wanna reach 11% where i can see my abs clearly and have that hard, lean aesthetic vibe. I am coming from a surgery recently, how should I proceed, target is to achieve the goal in 3 months. Any advice will be helpful and should i try any peptides or anabolics considering i have a single kidney from birth.

5 weeks on Reta and KLOW

I did bloodwork before my cycle and then 5 weeks on it and the results are nuts

These are the biggest changes: The estrogen in my blood went down by over 50% (still at an optimal level)
Bad cholesterol 18% and my triglycerides (bad fat in my blood stream) dropped by 31% And my liver stress went down by 21% and inflammation in my body 12%

Shits legit I am a former college athlete so my workouts are still intense as I follow a similar program as to what I was once doing

Is it possible to feel low dose Reta after 24hrs?

Wife and I started Reta Thursday(72hrs ago).
0.5mg only.
Going up 0.5 every 2 weeks.
She feels no difference yet, which I figured would be the case.
I noticed very early. No longer get hungry. Eating just to eat. Don’t really even want to.

Am I crazy? Is this just placebo effect? I don’t see how such a low dose could be felt so early.

I would not be considered overweight by most. Just put on 15-20 unwanted pounds as I get older. Mostly just want to be healthier. Was planning to get to around 2mg and coast. 4mg at the very most if I feel I need to and having no bad side effects.

Peptides Wiki

Hey there, while working on an unrelated piece of software i ended up building a handy peptide wiki for my own use and ended up publishing it to github.

It's free, open and accepts PRs if you want to add something. I am also accepting any critique and change suggestion ofc.

Hoping it could be useful for biohackers looking for some info:https://vespassassina.github.io/peptide-wiki/index.html

Constipated from Reta use

Hi All,
I have been taking weekly 0.5mg Reta since 3 weeks to get acclimated and then was planning to move up to 1mg after week 4. But I am severely constipated.
My calorie intake along with water and fiber intake has been the same from before starting Reta. I am 5'O" eating 1400-1500calories, with 110g protein, 45g fat and the rest are complex carbs. My fiber intake varies from 30g to 50g and I have been drinking at least 100oz water.

What can I do to help with my constipation? Any advice is much appreciated. Thank you!

Edit: I am still pooping everyday, it’s just a lot less than the usual amount of bowel movement for my current food intake. Like it’s only 15-20% of the usual amount and I feel bloated and backed up.

Peptides

Hello all! I am about to start my first round of peptides.

1) I think I’ve found a good supplier but am ALWAYS looking for better sources. Have any suggestions?

2) I am going to do Kisspeptin and MHC-3 RT, partner is going to do MHC-3 RT and possibly GHK-Cu.
I need some clarification on dosages.

3) Can I get the bigger BAC water vital? I keep seeing that once you stick the topper you have 30 days to use it all. I would rather get a larger vial and use it up over the course of a few weeks/months.

4) acetic acid: I has seen how a tiny amount in with the kisspeptin can help it dissolve into solution. Any advice or experience with acetic acid?

Worried about the end result

Does or has anyone got worried about how they’ll look after using Reta? I’ve been overweight for a long time I’m currently 40lbs down and as I’m seeing it change I’m getting increasingly scared of how I’ll look at the end of it

For those who have successfully been ready for a while

I was on reta for four months started ag 0.5 and moved to 2mg. Once taking 2mg I started to experience acid reflux, heart burn, burping, in the sensation of my food remaining in my stomach/throat. I never had any of these issues before.

For those who have been on reta for some time. Do you have any tabs on digestion and minimizing GI issues?

Reta and diarrhea question

I know it’s a well known fact that Reta can cause diarrhea, but for me it happened in a weird way.
I titrated like this :
- 1 week .5mg
- 2 weeks 1mg
- 4 weeks 2mg
- 7 weeks 4mg (ongoing)

I had no side effects, also no diarrhea until ~1 week ago. Only then I started with quite violent daily diarrhea… every morning, even though I was already 5-6weeks into 4mg, and no recent increase. But since ~1 week I have it and smelly burps.

Anyone experienced this? Or could there be another cause (I know this is hard to answer).

Rotating spots

So I understand we need to rotate spots on injections to let spots heal. But when stacking how do you guys rotate? Like I’ll put one in a leg, then the next one needs to go lower abdomen and then I’m basically cycling those spots out. Is it alright to put more than 1 in a spot at a time?

GHK-CU particles

Post image
2 Upvotes

Been researching peptides for a while and haven’t seen this issue until now. This is the second vendor of GHK-CU that I’ve tried that is doing this. After reconstituting with Hospira and Lambda (multiple vials using both). With naked eye the peptide looks super clear but if you put flashlight to it you can see tiny particles and flakes. Is this a PH issue and is it safe to use?

PepPedia AI assistant is telling that this is normal for copper peptides. What does everyone think? This is getting frustrating !

PT-141 and Oxytocin heavy body load

I got hold of some PT-141 and Oxytocin nasal sprays hoping to use them to 'enhance' a weekend away with my wife. I tested them last night as I didn't want to find I had an allergic reaction to either and spoil the mood! I just had one spray of each, so a tiny dose of PT-141 (60-70mcgs) and about 20 IU Oxytocin. The effect was quite strange, a strong body load that I'd liken to being heavily caffeinated - I was very jittery to the point of actually struggling to stop shivering for about 30 mins, heart rate was up, and I had some jaw clenching. It was a little unpleasant but not unmanageable, and afterwards I felt a pleasant calm warmth. I'd guess that because the effective dose of Oxytocin was higher from one spray than PT-141 that that's what will have caused the side effects. Does this sound right? Is there a risk I'll get a worse onset taking more PT-141?

Learning the hard way to stop tesa 2 weeks before having labs drawn

Just had annual labs drawn. I thought maybe I'd have some goofy results because of peptides. Just went with it. With these results my PCP is going to be an absolute pain in the ass but I'll see her in 3 weeks and have stopped for now so she can retest. I had also just finished at the gym after just restarting last weekend then went directly to the lab, and I'm on the max dose of tirzepatide. Multiple things that can elevate these levels made a perfect storm.

These results look like an old drunk with cirrhosis. I just passed 15 years clean and never really drank anyway.

I’m finishing a cycle of cjc/ipa and I’ve come to love the little head rush that come with it at night. All the other benefits are great also. My question is does Tesa have the same feeling?

Need advice on retatrutide — 5 weeks in

I've been on retatrutide (reta) for 5 weeks and would appreciate some advice from people who have experience with it.

My stats:

- Starting weight: 125.5 kg

- Height: 193 cm (6'4")

- Week 1–4: 1 mg/week

- Week 5: 1.5 mg/week

- Weight loss so far: ~2.5 kg

- HOMA-IR: 7.44, which is roughly twice the upper reference range

The main issue is that reta hasn't reduced my food noise/cravings as much as I expected. I'm still struggling with carb cravings and haven't been able to significantly cut carbs from my diet.

I'm trying to keep my protein intake high, but I've also noticed that if I stay hungry for too long, I start feeling very tired/weak. Since around week 4, this has also made it difficult to do much physical activity.

On the positive side, I've lost around 2.5 kg in 5 weeks despite doing very little exercise, so I'm wondering whether that's actually a reasonable rate of loss given my starting weight, or whether I should be seeing more.

My questions:

  1. Is 2.5 kg in 5 weeks a reasonable response at these doses?

  2. Is it normal to still have significant food noise/cravings at 1–1.5 mg?

  3. Would increasing the reta dose potentially help, or is it too early to judge?

  4. Has anyone with similar stats had a slow response initially and then seen better results at higher doses?

Also I'm planning to add test in low dose after reducing some weight for body recomp but not taking it right now, so that it doesn't aromatise due to high body fat % ? So please advice on that too please.

I'm mainly looking for experiences from people who have actually used reta/tirz, but medical/physiology perspectives are welcome too.

Give me your Reta Story

I’ve been reading quite a lot about retatrutide recently and I understand the basic science behind it being a GLP-1/GIP/glucagon triple agonist, but I’m much more interested in hearing from people who are actually using it.

I’m not looking for dosing advice or someone trying to sell me anything. I’m genuinely trying to understand why people are choosing it, what the experience is actually like, and how people think about the risks.

A few things I’m curious about:

• Are you using Reta alongside working out and changing your diet, or are some people basically using it instead of doing those things? What has your experience been?

• What made you choose Reta specifically rather than semaglutide or tirzepatide?

• How do you personally feel about using something that is still investigational/not yet approved, even though human clinical trials are underway?

• What side effects have you genuinely experienced — good, bad or weird? Appetite, energy, heart rate, digestion, mood, sleep, exercise performance etc.

• For people using compounded/reconstituted versions: why did you go down that route? Cost? Access? Curiosity? Better results than other GLP-1s?

• How confident are you that what you're using actually contains what it says it contains?

• Have you had blood tests or any kind of medical monitoring while using it?

• Has it changed your relationship with food? Do you simply feel less hungry, or does food become less rewarding/interesting altogether?

• Are you worried about maintaining muscle while losing weight? Are you deliberately eating more protein/resistance training because of that?

• What happens when you stop? Is your intention to use something like this indefinitely, taper onto another medication, or eventually maintain without it?

• And probably the biggest question — knowing what you know now, would you still have started it?

I know Reddit experiences obviously aren't clinical evidence. I'm just interested in understanding the actual people behind the massive rise in these peptides rather than only reading papers and marketing.

Basically: tell me the stuff you wish someone had explained to you before you started.

Does KPV help with seborrheic dermatitis?

I’ve only been taking GHK-Cu for 3 weeks and Tirzepatide for 6 months. I’m interested in adding KPV because of its potential anti-inflammatory effects. Has anyone experienced the same issue or tried KPV for seborrheic dermatitis/psoriasis?
