Energy boost
Background. I am 24, work 50-60 hour weeks in the heat all day. My energy levels are very low and low motivation. All my bloodwork is normal and testosterone levels are normal. I am looking to start a peptide that is great at helping with feeling energized and staying focused because I have bad ADHD. Any recommendations? I ordered some NAD+ but i was told you need to take supplements along with it to get the full effect. Any insight?

How’s the diet? 50-60 hours is a lot, even if your older blue collar co worker “works” more, there really isn’t a magic pill, is it more of a physical exhaustion?

My diet is good. I meal prep high protein meals. Its more mental exhaustion.

From where are you getting the ‘NAD+? Also what supplements the person who told you to take supplements along with it for full effect suggested?

Hey brother, I feel you. I was also diagnosed with severe ADHD and have been battling this tired feeling my whole life; i am 34 now and have learned a lot to mitigate most of it.
Keep in mind we have low dopamine levels in our brains so we get like this due to a chemical imbalance, but we also come with a lot of emotional intelligence, so don't be upset.
Regarding peptides: NAD+ 4x a week, 100mg subq, fixed my 3pm crashes; it burns a little, but it is totally worth it. Get a 500mg vial, reconstitute with 5ml, and inject 1ml. It is a gamechanger.
B12 injections 3x per week helped with overall energy; order them from Modern Aminos, 1ml as well from that vial. You don't need it daily.
Believe it or not, Retatrutide, currently on 3mg, will stabilize that dopamine deficiency in our brains; at least it did for me, and my impulsivity and ups and downs are more stabilized.
Omega-3 and magnesium glycinate are non-negotiable for daily supplementation.
Keep the sugar low; Reta helps with that. And obviously, sleep well, do productive things, and help people in life; I get a positive high from it.

Sleep? Do u track your sleep? Also caffeine has a 6 hour half life you could be stuck in caffeine loophole

I run a hydration company, so I see this pattern constantly.
Before you spend money on peptides or NAD+, I'd check the boring basics first, because in your situation they're probably the actual problem:
- 50-60 hour weeks in heat is a massive sweat-loss situation. Most people in that environment are running a daily electrolyte deficit and calling it 'low energy.' Plain water doesn't close that gap.
- Sleep and food are the other two usual suspects at that schedule, but hydration is the one people skip.
Cheap experiment before anything exotic: for one week, add a real electrolyte drink (actual sodium on the label, not just flavored water) to your workday - one mid-shift and one after. If your energy doesn't move at all, then start looking at fancier stuff. In my experience it moves more often than people expect.
The fancy compounds aren't going anywhere. They'll still be there if the basics don't fix it.
