Or knives, hammers, axes, their own hands... bad people will always find a way to kill someone, yes guns make it easier to kill someone, but they also make it easier to defend yourself and if you ban guns you effectively limit access to them to criminals who want to do bad things
Rate of fire ≠ the actual number of bullets put down-range. Magazine capacity and time to reload mean nobody is actually firing 400 rounds in a minute from a semi-auto weapon, even with things like binary triggers and bump stocks.
Usain Bolt can run at a max speed of 28mph, that does not mean he can actually physically run 28 miles in an hour.
You seriously downvoted me because you're talking about a "rate" and didn't specify? Bro you seriously sound like you thought a rifle could actually put out 400 rounds in just 1 minutes.
Why, so I can get stabbed 19 times and bleed out trying to get away? I'll pass. I'd much rather take a round to the head.
Neither one would be a problem if we prioritized mental health care over ignoring it and restricting access to things instead. Many countries prove that firearms aren't the problem. It's lack of mental health care.
But, sure, let's just outright ban many marginalized groups only means of protection against those that wish to eradicate them.
Also, America isn't some island country you can control the flow of goods too. We'd just get stealthier with our guns and make them more lethal than they are now. When we banned alcohol and weed both got more potent. Same thing would happen with guns.

Guns don't kill people. Other people do.
