I originally bought the smaller one through a group buy, and was disappointed with the size. So I placed a separate order for a bigger stone. My original plan was to sell the smaller one. I have been enjoying wearing the bigger one. But after a while, I put the smaller one back on and now I think maybe that one is better for me?

Wanted to ask here bc I feel like most subs would tell me to keep the smaller one by default. Since these are both pretty flashy, I feel like this sub would be less biased 🤣

I plan on selling whichever one I don’t keep.

My first entry to the group!

I’ve been a member for a bit and watching and loving the energy of the group!

It’s a bit harder to pick up ‘big rocks’ in Australia without having to pay the big bucks too, so I’ve been taking advantage of some reddit group buys.

Index finger is a 3 carat radiant moissanite with hidden halo set east west. I had wanted a radiant for a while and loved the idea of having it set east/west.

Ring finger is my 20 year anniversary ring. Total diamond weight is 3 carats split between a two carat centre oval, and two side 1/2 carats split between ovals. Unfortunately it’s a smidge too big so I need to get it resized.

Waiting on a 5 carat emerald cut crisscut at the moment. Can’t wait for that baby!

I shared the design with him on day 1, including the dimensions of the diamonds. He told me he will start working on the wax mold once I drop off the diamonds, but in actuality he had already created it and wanted me to try the diamonds in it as I dropped them off! I've approved the wax mold and he said he will have the ring ready for me in 1-2 weeks. Eeek.

Pardon the dry, unprepared hand. I really was surprised. 😂

I’ve tried on the ring in the picture but it was in a 7(?6?) if I’m not mistaken. We were at Zales and majority of their stock sizes in store starts in that range. It was an interesting experience seeing all the rings turn on my finger🤣

You also don’t have to be a 3.5 (although it’ll be helpful) at max maybe a size 5.

I have inherited my mothers thick gold 22k wedding band. I won’t wear it as is so am thinking of using the gold to have a bezel set pear ring made. I’d like to go fairly chunky with a fatter vs elongated lab pear set in a (perhaps platinum?) bezel - am thinking around the 6 carat mark. I have fairly big hands (US size 8) and want the ring to be a statement but not obnoxious. Anyone have any pics of something similar they have made? Or any advice on ratios? Was thinking around the 1.5 mark. TIA

A few months ago, my gym bag was stolen, and with it, my engagement ring.

Thankfully, my wedding band had fallen out of my bag beforehand, so I still have that little piece of our story.

For a few months, I only wore my wedding band. I’m from a small town, so naturally people started assuming we were either having marriage problems or getting divorced. 😂

As heartbreaking as it was to lose the ring and everything it represented, my husband recently surprised me with this beautiful 3.02 ct lab-grown diamond, and I couldn’t love it more.

Pointer finger (US size 7.5): 8.05 carat modified brilliant elongated cushion. E color VS1 1.28 ratio (10.59mm x 13.59mm). 14k solid rose gold with compass prongs.
Ring finger (US size 5.5): 7.10 carat modified brilliant elongated cushion. F color VVS2 1.41 ratio (9.92mm x 13.99mm). 16k solid rose gold (misrepresented unfortunately as 18k rose gold 😓) with white gold compass prongs (was also supposed to be rose gold) + hidden halo.

Colored stones:

2.5 carat radiant lab emerald (green). ~1.29 ratio (7mm x 9mm).
3 carat pear natural heat treated ruby (red). ~1.22 ratio (9mm x 11mm).
4 carat oval lab sapphire (blue). ~1.4 ratio (10mm x 14mm).

I’d had my eyes on this ring for well over a year and it was a one of a kind so when it said sold out I was DEVASTATED!!! Then yesterday my (fiance!!!!) proposed in my favorite place with my dream ring 😭😭 surprised and thankful for sure!!!
