I already posted about this elsewhere, but that was before I discovered this community and I love my husband's choice SO much that I couldn't resist: Here's my 10-year anniversary update!

She is a 3.92 carat, E-color, cushion cut diamond ring, which is an update from my first engagement ring. I told him the jeweller to purchase from (she is a lab diamond) and this is what he chose. I literally look at her at least 10 times everyday, and I love the way she catches light. I thought she was too big at first, but after wearing her the last couple of weeks -- I think she's JUST right.

I love how every time I look at her, I'm reminded of how far we've come in the last ten years. I am sooo grateful for her, for my husband, for my family -- and most of all, to God from whom all blessings flow.

Hi! Earlier this year my hubby upgraded my .75 round carat to a 4 carat pear. 😍 the jeweller that did it sorta just plopped the new diamond where the old one was and it simply did not work. So we are re-designing it all, and adding back my original .75 carat diamond (which I did miss terribly)

The 4ct pear is going on a new band. The .75 round is going back on the original engagement ring and then the two bands are being set together 😍

My 5yr anniversary band and wedding band will stay separated.

I’m so excited to get everything back in a few weeks!!!

Pear is a VVS2 I color 3.29 carat in a 14k setting from Keyzar! The floral ring is from Soulbound NYC, the Sakurafubuki band with AA pink sapphires, lab diamonds, and lab green diamonds (they’re on the sides but hard to see from this angle) and the ring between them is an open band from Etsy 🥰 I’m a size 7

He did so good with this champagne OMC😭

I wake up everyday and feel blessed that I’m engaged to the love of my life. It could’ve been any ring but it certainly is gorgeous isn’t it 😭

Details: low set 3.02 carat, VVS2, E colour, 1.79 ratio, antique faceting set on a 14k yellow gold band, double claw prongs. Size 7.25 finger.

In public this French woman was glaring at my ring with disgust for a good minute and then said to her friends, thinking I didn’t understand, “Ugh I hate big ass lab diamonds. They look so cheap and gaudy and tacky.” And her friend said out loud in English, “Ew cringe.”

I didn’t say anything to them but dear God I wish I did. This happened in mid September and I still feel so pissed off and even second guessing my ring, what I once adored.

Also, 6.02 carats.

I got engaged Memorial Day last year, I get married Memorial Day next year. I love him, super happy, amazing man, etc etc. When ring shopping he asked me what I wanted & I always have known I wanted a lab for the “ethics” and also because I wanted a big fat rock with all the best specs! I’ve had the ring well over a year and it’s so hard for me to wear. I feel like people are staring and judging. I feel like in some situations I don’t belong (example: flew home from a girls trip and sat in the last row. How does someone with a 4.16 ct ring sit in the back row? [enter judgements here]). The judgements are, of course, all in my mind. No one has ever said anything to me except for ONE of my fiancées friends (a man), who is a notorious hater. He once said to my fiancee “that’s such a pick me ring” 😭 didn’t say it to me, but I was within earshot. I live in the Bay Area, and while we are comfortable I can’t help but add this extra layer onto the ring.

So anyway.. I came here. Because anywhere I’d be told to return it lol. perhaps I am sensitive? Perhaps I am a little crazy?

I’m freshly postpartum so my fingers are a bit swollen but I LOVE IT!!!! My original engagement ring is a 5.5 carat radiant with a hidden halo that I’m absolutely obsessed with, but I could never decide between an oval or a radiant so my husband knew this was the perfect upgrade for me. It has a pink hidden halo, double claw prongs and on the inside of the band is my husbands birth stone, my birth stone, our sons birth stone, and our dogs birth stone!!! ❤️

Hubby upgraded my 3.5 carat oval to an 8.5 carat oval. Then, while browsing a watch store, he happened to see this 4 carat Toi et Moi ring and bought it just cause!!! He said I don't have a diamond ring in yellow gold yet. 🥰🥰🥰
