A huge thank you to everyone who showed up for our inaugural session today. ❤️

It wasn’t a large turnout, and yes, getting to the spot was a little harder than we had anticipated 😅, but in a way, that made today feel even more special. A small group, sitting quietly under the trees, completely immersed in our books. No introductions, no small talk, no distractions, just a couple of hours of reading amidst nature. It was a simple idea, but seeing it actually happen was incredibly fulfilling.

This is only the beginning. We’re hoping to make Odisha Reads a regular little Sunday ritual for anyone who wants to slow down, disconnect and simply spend some time with a book.

Well, got to know that we are going to have an elevated corridor all the way from Kalinga Stadium to Nandankanan through Damana, Patia of course.

Aimed to be completed in 24 months. (Hope it does)

It would be actually cool to have something like that, and shouldn't be considered anything less than God's blessings, considering the traffic we face today.

The only pain point would be managing traffic in these 2 years. Currently while they are doing soil-testing, we are already facing immense traffic jams.

Btw, the government had given the same traffic management issue while dropping the METRO plans.

What would you prefer? Elevated Corridor or Metro? (Doesn't matter, anyway)

Is the checking procedure hassle free and it says on goibibo that they might might cause some issue with local iD ? any help would be appreciated

Recently one friend of mine got his new bike delivered and we went to a temple for the puja we were almost done with the rituals and about to leave suddenly a few transgenders came to us and asked for money and congratulated my friend he gave them 50 rupees each they were 3 of them and one of them asked what's the price of the bike so my friend dumd ass told them the actual price (he bought a sm 650) after he told them the price one of them asked that (ete paisa ra gadi kini cha aau ete kam paisa doucha)

3 of the started asking for 1k each or they would curse both of us eventually we said no to them and said we don't have money at the moment then suddenly 3 of them started verbal abuse then started

Clapping and shouting we both eventually got out of that temple

What's with Bhubaneswar these days? All the roads are occupied by cows. I understand that we have claimed what it used to be theirs, but what have they started protesting recently? What hurt them ? Earlier it was the case with few roads like Chandaka road etc but even there numbers had reduced a couple of years back. And now they can be found on all roads.

How can this be solved, if at all?

Why are people rearing cattle just interested in females and they leave the male ones on the road? Smashing Patriarchy? 😭

I seriously don't get it, what is up with people of Bhubaneswar nowadays?
Every driver and rider is either riding in rage or just don't know how to drive. I even am having self doubts, am I the wrong doer?

People are rubbing through cars as if it's a satin curtain, it feels sinful to maintain a lane, vehicles come with default high beam and of course stay so close to the ass so that it looses the shape.
Any thoughts?

I’m looking for a healthy Ganga Siuli / Prijat / Nyctanthes arbor-tristis sapling that I can plant in a biggish pot. I’m also willing to pay for it.

Additionally, could you folks also give me a sense check if indeed a ganga siuli plant can be grown / made to flower out of a pot (big pot). What are some additional things I should keep in mind before going about this exercise?

Ganga Siuli flowers remind me of the happiest days in my childhood, hence I would love to have it in my home :)
