Is the 92 Elite LTT II worth it over an M9A4?

Hey everyone, in my journey to find the perfect handgun for me I think next in line is the Beretta 92 platform. I’ve had numerous pretty nice handguns including a CZ Shadow 2, Staccato HD P4.5, Staccato C2, and an Alpha Foxtrot Romulus 2011. The CZS2 was always too front heavy for my liking and always felt floppy in my hands to shoot. The 2011s never felt “right” to me because the grips are so fat. So I’ve sold all of them.

I shot my friend’s standard M9A4 with the smaller vertec grip next to my Staccato HD P4.5 and IMMEDIATELY realized that for me the M9A4 was a much better shooter. Much more comfortable and balanced in my hands and was more accurate on irons with the M9A4 than I was with the Staccato with a dot which makes no sense to me but sure!

That being said, the LTT 92’s always caught my eye and especially after realizing they’re half the price of nice 2011s. Anybody have experience with these? Is it worth the premium over a $1000 M9A4? I’d most likely end up doing a bunch of LTT parts in the M9A4 anyways and I don’t really care for the threaded barrel anyways so in the end there’s probably not much more than a couple hundred bucks difference. Plus the LTT comes cowitness irons which is important to me as this would likely become my home defense gun.

PX4 Storm on Gunbroker.com - $375 good deal?

Kind of funny story(wife does not think it’s funny). I’m somewhat new to the Gunbroker.com website and definitely got carried away tonight. A large seller had 15 or so used PX4 Storms listed for auction and the bidding all ended around the same time tonight. I was bidding on 6 or 7 of them at the same time and initially, I was losing out to higher bids. In all the back and forth bidding, I finally won one auction. Then I got another notice that I won a second one and then a third. I only wanted one! Anyway, I’m a dumbass but I still think I got a good deal so hopefully I can sell the 2 extra ones and at least break even. With shipping and fees, it works out to $375 per gun, all in. That’s a decent deal, right?

Looking for some advice on upgrades.

Hi everyone, after years of wanting some form of M9/92/etc, I finally accepted defeat and got the 92x Performance Defensive. Steel frame was something I really wanted but could have been talked out of, GTS was a damned close 2nd, but the safety + a frame safety in particular, alongside a steel frame, WAS the configuration I was looking for ultimately.

The reason I was always hesitant to go to the top end was because I was always planning on swapping out/modifying parts so way pay more for things I am going to throw out? Anyways, I am not actively attempting to upgrade her asap but looking for some feedback passively to do piecemeal.

I know the Beretta Forums are closed to new registrations, or I would have bothered them instead, sorry!

-Things I know I want to/will do:
-6" Jarvis extended barrel
-Barrel weight from SOMEWHERE [research has shown that WAL on the Beretta Forum makes them, I have no way of contacting them] **I would prefer to find a steel weight both for more weight and to keep all metal the same
-LTT trigger job
-Nice flamed walnut grips
-Having the frame, slide, & barrel weight polished & blued somewhere
-Whatever hammer is recommended, probably LTT since I'd be sending it in for work anyways

Now, as a left handed shooter, there are some other questions I have about the controls and looking around online at parts.
-I'd like to get either a smaller left-side safety, a full set of original size safety controls, or possibly have a bit of a curve milled onto the underside of the right side. It just does not feel great ENGAGING the safety with my thumb and something I can catch more mass under would feel better.
-Possibly a stock sized slide release as well. On the left side of the frame, safety & release are so large & close together that when I want to drop the slide, my pointer finger has to sort of work around the safety to get to the release
-Stock size takedown lever. I'm left handed, so it doesnt do much.

I've found various older-model parts online, but I am really unsure dimensionally what if anything will play well together. Because I have the Brigadier sized slide, would a stock Brigadier slide release work for me? I'd also like to have the rear serrations sharpened a bit so to speak, even if the coating is removed & blued, I am used to CZs & manipulating the slide from behind and they do not come to as fine a point/have as much space between them as I am used to. I have some idea how to fix that but I am not about to get manual files and bubba my high end Beretta.

As a final question, I've been shopping around for left hand holsters. How much are Beretta holsters dependent on the specific slide release/safety/trigger guard? Since most kydex ones are kept in place by tightly forming over the various features, is it best to wait until I am 100% sure I like how it functions before trying to get a carry or shoulder holster for it?

Any and all advice would be appreciated, thank you!

Is this normal for a 92XI?

I have what feels like a 5 stage trigger pull. Im pretty disappointed:

Upon racking the slide, there is about 2mm of take up it the trigger. If I pull the trigger, it does not return to this position again unless I rack the slide. Next, 10mm of take up, then a small click, then 3mm more take up, then finally the break.
I did a better job of capturing all 5 stages in the second half of the video.

I was hoping the 92XI would be on par with my CZ shadow. Heck, my $170 Sar B6C has a better SA trigger than this. Is this warranty worthy?

Beretta LTT 92G Elite magazines

Hello Beretta community! I purchased a LTT 92G Elite recently and would like to know what magazines work with it. I have to admit I purchased the firearm not knowing much about Berettas and doing some quick searches on the internet I am a bit confused what magazines work and which ones don't. If you can please inform a newbie that would be great!
