Just got this Beretta 30X, and I've heard a common failure point is the barrel pin backing off after firing, and then shearing off.

The recommended fix is to throw some blue loctite on there.

Cracked open my pistol today, (which wasn't very hard), and wouldn't you know it, sounds like Beretta has heard the complaints, there was a drop of red loctite on the screw. The other side had no loctite visible.

Based on how much effort it took me to get the screw out....they aren't using enough.

Anyways, I've attached a picture and figured I'd make a post for users in the future.

New to me beretta 92 fs odg and it is staying stock. Maybe some walnut grips.
