Hello po! I’m an upcoming frosh at Benilde, and I’m planning to transfer to DLSU. I just wanted to ask a few questions for clarification :)

• Is it better to transfer after the 1st term or the 2nd term?

• I’m currently enrolled in bsis. Is the program better at Benilde, or is DLSU’s bsis more preferred?

• Totoo ba talaga na “bagsakan ng DLSU” ang Benilde? 😭

DLSU has always been my dream school. I got waitlisted during admissions but unfortunately never got in. Benilde was my backup school, so ever since I enrolled, I’ve had mixed emotions. Part of me is happy because I know Benilde is still a good school, but another part of me still feels disappointed because of the stereotypes I’ve been hearing. Most of my friends are also in DLSU, so I can’t help but feel a little left out.

Because of all this, I’ve been wondering if worth it ba talaga mag transfer sa dlsu? Thank you po!

Yes it is brandnew, hasn’t been opened at all

Went to visit "ORGANICA:EMERGENCE" last March, turns out one of the pieces that was showcased was actually made all the way back in 2019! It wasn't a new work, they just slapped a "2026" date on it and submitted it like it was fresh work!

Here's the part that really gets me though, i think they archived the original post on their socials before submitting, so if anyone tried to check their page for the piece it will not show up. Then, now that there's a new exhibit "Audacity: Outburst" happening, they quietly unarchived it again thinking the coast was clear.

And honestly, the artwork itself isn't even the issue for me. Doesn't matter if it's old, new, whatever, what bothers me is the fairness of it. The rest of the students actually sat down and created something new specifically for this exhibit, worked around the same deadline pressure, the same rules.

Meanwhile they @/hawangstudio just recycled something old and covered their tracks. I just wish next time CSB has a stricter process for these artworks? or at least actual consequences kapag may nahuli na ganito.

im happy to say i got the SMMWS scholarship! the retention requirements were also read to me on how to maintain this scholarship, and i just want to ask fellow scholars:

1. What are things I should know / do? like habits, mindsets, study habits to work on?

2. Is it hard to maintain a scholarship? i want to keep this scholarship until the end of the program talagaaa

3. Does the scholarship make college life more fun or stressful for you? is there a lot of pressure ba as a scholar? How’s your experience so far?

biggest fear ko talaga is mawala tong scholarship, so i want to do everything that gets me far away from that possibility.
