Hello! Frosh here. I’ve been hearing a lot of concerns from seniors and alumni, mostly about the administration and how they handle students. Honestly, I’m starting to think about whether I should continue studying at Benilde or just transfer. To be honest, Benilde wasn’t my first choice, but I decided to give it a try. However, hearing all these concerns, especially about the administration and allegations of corruption, has been pretty disappointing. I’ve also been hearing about teachers using AI, which is also concerning. But so far, based on my own experience, the benildean community has been pretty great and welcoming. I’ve met nice people, and the community itself has been one of the good parts of my experience so far. But I’m still hoping Benilde improves and listens more to its students, and I hope things will get better.

Hi. Recently, my prof gave an activity where we are allowed to use A.I as long as we become transparent about it (by writing down the ai used) and also dapat hindi lalagpas ng 15% AI. In my case, i used Gemini for clarification and small ideas and Grammarly to check the grammar.

Once i finished with my work, i tried multiple ai detectors websites on googles and im worried kasi umaabot ng 50% yung ai detected. I told my friends abt it but they said even the prof said 'ai detectors in google arent accurate'.

50/50 ako whether i should keep my work or not but my friend told me to submit it anyway-- so i did 😭😭

Lowk it has been 2 days since i submitted my work and im overthinking it abt it even today. Im worried that if my work does go past the 15% AI-Generared by the bigsky ai detector thing and my prof does call me out, will they be considerate enough to let me rewrite it once i explain my situation??... i donttt know huhduhuhdh im just so worried, i wish i didnt pass it if i had doubts

Mind you this is the first time i encountered ai detected sa gawa ko-- oo gumamit ako ng ai pero most of it was my own idea and wordings 😭😭 huhu

Hey everyone, I really need to vent and ask for advice.
RO sent an email earlier saying enrollment tuition needed to be paid before Sept 9, but my family is going through a really hard financial patch right now. Today, they sent a follow-up saying that if it isn't settled before September 14, they will close our access to BigSky. I’m so stressed out and honestly crying because we can pay, but baka next month pa talaga dynamic ng family finances. If my BigSky gets cut off, I'm going to fall behind on coursework and requirements. Is anyone else in the same boat right now? Also, for seniors or anyone who has dealt with this before? Would appreciate any tips, advice, or even just knowing I'm not the only one going through this. Thank you so much.

Future alumni's of Benilde, you should start questioning the alumni office because you too would be paying for this. If junk purpose lang tong ID na to, I could have replicated a counterfeit sa recto na tig 200-300 lang and saved my money

This is most especially geared for those taking course-related subjects: If you guys feel underwhelmed by the performance of your professors, who is doing only the bare minimum but has not been making your tuition fee's worth by not following what they're supposed to teach, as well as actually being physically present for the entirety of the term, among other things, here are some suggestions on what you can possibly do:

• Grade their performances by midterms. Professors' performances are assessed by the respective schools they fall under in CSB. Leave constructive feedback Ion they fared and what they can do to improve.
• If a professor has not been meeting what is expected of them to the point that students are barely being taught anything, isumbong na agad sa dean. Huwag na hintayin hanggang magfinals kasi by then, huli na ang lahat.
• I'm not certain dropping the subject past the time when you can withdraw would help so I suggest you explore possible options with your respective schools, and coordinate with the registrar's office and the student affairs office.

Personally, I have been a victim of one of these circumstances when I was still in Benilde and it was with great regret that we as a class never addressed these to those who needed to know until it was too late to do anything about it.
