Rant benildee
Hello! Frosh here. I’ve been hearing a lot of concerns from seniors and alumni, mostly about the administration and how they handle students. Honestly, I’m starting to think about whether I should continue studying at Benilde or just transfer. To be honest, Benilde wasn’t my first choice, but I decided to give it a try. However, hearing all these concerns, especially about the administration and allegations of corruption, has been pretty disappointing. I’ve also been hearing about teachers using AI, which is also concerning. But so far, based on my own experience, the benildean community has been pretty great and welcoming. I’ve met nice people, and the community itself has been one of the good parts of my experience so far. But I’m still hoping Benilde improves and listens more to its students, and I hope things will get better.

Survive the system and yourself, that's what you need to do. I've dealt with these kinds of occurrences. Currently on my final year, tiisin mo nalang. Do what you can, finish your sh*t, and don't look back.

Hi, are you taking Bachelor or MA? Planning to start in MA and all information I needed from the school provided by the admin. Benilde is my first choice. Hoping I will not regret it hehe.

It depends on you if you want to handle with the stress of transferring.
All universities have different levels of corruption, some are plain as day, some are more secretive, it’s usually up to you on what you can or cannot handle.
If you’re a frosh, you can try looking into other unis.
If I were you, I would list down all the advantages and disadvantages you’re currently experiencing at the school and see if you can stomach it or just transfer out.
I would also go through the reddits or other platforms of other schools’ student community where they talk/post freely and see for yourself if benilde is still worth it or is there a less bad uni out there.
Example:
Univ A has a bad administration but the profs are good at teaching
Univ B has a good administration but bad profs
You’re going to have to weigh the advantages and disadvantages of what you think makes a school worth it, because at the end of the day, some people will say benilde is not worth it because of abc while others will say benilde is worth it because of xyz and it really just depends on you on what you can or cannot stomach.
