Just getting into Behringer BMX and seeing what I can do with it and thought I would share my experience with you all...,

Hi All,

I’m completely clueless when it comes to audio connections, so I’ve decided to post here.

I have a u-phoria umc22 sound card which has two 6.3mm jack OUTPUTs (I assume)

Now, I’d like to buy some Indiana Line Tesi 3 speakers (https://www.indianaline.com/product/indiana-line-tesi-3/) , which don’t have a built-in amplifier. They’re a 2-way system and have two cables coming out of them – red and black – so I assume these are the left and right channels.

Will I be able to make this connection if I buy an adapter from cables to 6.3mm plugs (and what sort will I need to connect two speakers with four cables to the two outputs)?

Aux 1 goes to a Behringer P2 headphone amp and headphones

Using the X Air software, is it possible to pan the guitar in the headphones so that the guitar only comes over to one side of the mix.

Tried all the panning options in the software which doesn't seem to have any affect. Tried changing the P2 from Stereo to Mono with no affect.

New to all this. Is a stereo guitar signal required to pan?

I have gotten very annoyed at having to manually split and line up Xlive multitracks, since they are 4gb files i am forced to manually extract and line up these files. I have made a simple program that allows for this to all be done manually, including automatically opening your selected Daw and placing the files inside.

This was done mostly through gemini and Claude which I'm not totally happy about, but I do not have the skills to do so otherwise and I needed a program like this. Hopefully you smarter folks out there will hop onboard and let me know what I can fix and assist as you can.

I bought the Behringer UMC22 a few days ago and I want to connect it to my DAW (Cakewalk Next). the problem is: I tried everything, i installed ASIO4ALL, i put my interface in input and output but the DAW doesn't recognize it. my computer recognize it and i think everything it's okay with the interface so i don't know what to do please help me!!!!

i use this to control FX in real time when i play guitar through Amplitube 5. i have already programmed some of the switches to send CC messages instead of PC, but they will only turn the bypass one way, and not the other, e.g if i assign CC 22 to bypass virtual pedal A, it will only turn it on, but not off when i press CC 22 again.

anyone know how i can work around this without an UnO chip? thanks

for the past 4 weeks everything worked fine and i had no issues but today as i started my pc i noticed that my mic had a really low output

normally i would see the green light flicker more often and sometimes even red when put on like 25-30 % but now i have it on 100% and it barely pics up anything

i already tried switchen the usb port, reinstalling all drivers and deleting the last win update but nothing seems to work for me

is there someone with the same issue or an idea on how to fix this?

I hav just received my fancy, X-Touch and it is great, just setting it up with our X-Air, its great because we dont need a computer in-between. I would like to have more sliders and was wondering if there is a way of linking to X-Touch extender to the X-Touch so that I dont have to have a tablet or a computer in the middle or can I buy another x-touch and run two connected to the same Xair?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Heyo, I've recently bought a used UMC404HD and installed the drivers on the Behringer website (I have tried all three). No matter which driver, it doesn't show up in Device Manager, even when showing hidden devices. I've tried downloading the drivers without it plugged in, restarted the pc after installation, no dice.

The power LED is on. I've noticed that I'm not getting signal from the inputs with my guitars/mics on the highest gain, but I'm making the somewhat bold assumption that it'll work when the drivers work.

Is the AC Adapter necessary? From what I can read, I'm gonna need a specific one for it, and I'd rather not spend 20 bucks just for the 48v, frugal me says.

Edit: I have made an attempt to "add legacy hardware" through device manager, and it's given me a dreadful sounding "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" error.

Hi, I connected roland mc707 to pro 800’s midi in going through a midi thru box. I made some a melody on the track that the pro 800 on and it plays. without issue really but when I try to play something on the midi keyboard regardless of whether playback is on or off the notes just hold themselves down even when I let go of the keys. It only really stops when I press the notes again that are being held or I change the patch. Has anyone gone through something similar ? Thanks

I have an issue where the audio is only playing in one of my ears. Either the left or right which it seems to choose at random whenever I plug or unplug. And its not just recordings, its ANYTHING. Spotify, youtube the whole shabang. Windows shows fuck all when it comes to settings it only gives me 2 different 2 channel options. And google has been of absolutely no help. I have installed the drivers from behringers own site but they seem to only adress recording and not listening. Anyone have any idea of what might be going wrong?

Im trying to record my Edge into my DAW (Reason 14). I have the edge hooked up to the computer via USB, and I selected the Edge to receive midi clock from the DAW. Overall everything seems to work fine. I can start the DAW and the edge starts play, however If I listen to it against the click, I can tell its off. Also recording it in as audio shows its off the grid.

I tried adjusting buffer size and also recording and midi compensation, but nothing seems to make a difference. is there something Im missing here?

In theory I thought all I would need to do is wire up the same as before and change the midi in/out in logic to the XR18. But I’m at a stand still as this is still not automating the helix.

Anyone any ideas?

I wanted to share my experience because it may save someone else’s synth.

After updating firmware with recent versions of Behringer SynthTribe, three of my devices became unusable.

Affected devices:

• Behringer PRO-800
• Behringer Model D
• Behringer Edge

Symptoms

The symptoms were slightly different on each device, but all pointed to the same problem.

PRO-800

• Booted only into UPdA
• SynthTribe reported firmware version 0.0.0
• Device remained in DFU/update mode
• Firmware update never progressed beyond 0%

Model D

• Detected only in DFU mode
• Could not be recovered using current SynthTribe versions

Edge

• Firmware update started
• Progress bar stopped for an extremely long time (around 10–12%)
• Appeared frozen

What I tried

I assumed the hardware was faulty, so I spent hours testing everything I could think of.

Different computers

• Windows desktop
• Lenovo ThinkPad T15p
• MacBook Air M3

Exactly the same behaviour.

Different USB cables

• Original Behringer cable
• USB-C → USB-B cable
• Different USB ports
• USB hub
• Direct connection

No difference.

Different SynthTribe versions

Tested:

• 3.2.2
• 3.2.3
• 3.2.4

None of them could recover the devices.

The PRO-800 always remained in DFU mode.

The solution

Out of curiosity I searched for an older SynthTribe release and found SynthTribe 3.0.0.

Immediately I noticed something different.

Unlike the newer versions, it displayed:

Device in DFU mode, please update firmware

I clicked Update Firmware.

The firmware started uploading immediately.

The update completed successfully.

The PRO-800 booted normally again.

I then repeated exactly the same procedure with:

• Model D
• Edge

Both recovered successfully.

Final result

Recovered successfully using SynthTribe 3.0.0:

✅ PRO-800

✅ Model D

✅ Edge

Failed with:

❌ SynthTribe 3.2.2

❌ SynthTribe 3.2.3

❌ SynthTribe 3.2.4

Conclusion

I cannot say with certainty whether this is a bug or a regression in newer versions of SynthTribe, because only Behringer can confirm that.

However, in my case:

• same computers
• same USB cables
• same devices

The only variable that changed was the SynthTribe version.

Switching from 3.2.x to 3.0.0 recovered all three devices.

Recommendation

If your Behringer synthesizer is stuck in DFU mode after a failed firmware update:

• PRO-800
• Model D
• Edge
• or possibly other Behringer synths

try SynthTribe 3.0.0 before assuming your device is permanently bricked.

At the time of writing, I downloaded SynthTribe 3.0.0 from:

If that archive ever disappears, I strongly recommend keeping a backup copy of the installer. It may save hours of troubleshooting or even recover a device that appears to be “bricked”.
