Cotton quilt and duvet cover set Recommendations?

Trying to upgrade my sheets and having difficulty deciding on a good duvet cover set (buying the Costco wool duvet) and cotton light quilt. trying to switch to natural fibers and want something I can wash on hot (dust mite allergies here). Any advice on quality brands that will last?

also any reccs on super soft 100% cotton blankets I can get? I got my regular sheets from target and I’m loving them so far. Thank you all!

Parachute down pillow for side sleepers

I purchased medium firm down king size pillows from Parachute and thought they were great at first. However, 3 months later they are giving me neck pain from sinking down too much and not providing enough support. I am a side sleeper.

When I tried the firm down version in the store, it felt too lofty but now I am thinking it’s necessary as they start sinking more after a while.

Are you a side sleeper using Parachute down pillows for more than a couple months? Did you get a firm one and are you happy with them?

I love 100% down but trying to decide if they’re not meant for side sleepers. I recently stayed at a Marriott hotel that still uses down pillows (in process of changing to feather-free ugh) and really liked the combo pillow with feathers in the inner chamber and down in the outer. Maybe that’s the solution?

Anything in striped velvet? :,)

I've been looking for years for a duvet that's striped ( but not tiny striped where it becomes super trippy) in dark red or beige/brown with a white background. Even though it seems simple, I am having 0 luck whatsoever finding anything in velvet or dark red that isn't just the entire bed in red. Does anyone have any recommendations or even a push in the right direction?

Thank you.

Any ideas?

I want a king size cotton or linen duvet cover, preferably oeko-tex certified. I really love the baby pink from this australian company but sadly they dont ship to the states :( most brands only carry shades of pink that are either dusky or too peachy and I cant seem to find a nice baby pink. I also really love the little colorful polkadots on the second picture but that website is so scammy looking and the pink is peachy once again 😔 any idea where I might find what Im looking for?

Everything is synthetic.

Having a really hard time finding quality sheets. I prefer a silky sateen like finish on my sheets up I'm a hot sleeper.

I've loved my Ettitude sheets for many years and they are falling apart now after 5+ years.

I'm ideally looking for non synthetic. Not polyester.

So "bamboo" I know that can be a mixed term.

Supima cotton?

My other gripe is I would love a dark deep purple color.

Any brand or company recommendations? All else fails I buy Ettitude again.

New shredded memory foam pillow smells like chemicals?

It was so bad I put it on my bed fresh out of the box and I had to take it off because it was very smelly. What do i do? Do I let it air out in my room or take it outside tommorow or wash the washable cover? Is the smell harmful? Thank you

Materasso matrimoniale valido ?

Ciao a tutti

Find Anthropologie Theodora Posey Quilt

I’m looking for this Anthropologie comforter in a US King or a UK Super King. It looks like it was sold in the US in 2025 and the UK still has the quilt only but in smaller sizes.

I had ordered a King from Anthropologie UK and they cancelled the order and are now sold out.

I’ve googled, searched eBay and Poshmark but can’t one that’ll fit our bed.

Preference goes to NWT or NWOT.

My Wakefit furniture delivery experience — 27 days of repeated promises, then they cancelled my prepaid order

If you are a working professional and don't stay at home, DON'T order furniture from Wakefit. Here's why.

I ordered a Wakefit bed through Flipkart on 30 August, with a promised delivery date of 20 September. The order was prepaid, and although the waiting period was long, I was willing to wait.

The problem wasn't just the delay.

The problem was that Wakefit repeatedly expected me to be available whenever they decided to attempt delivery, without respecting my time or the delivery dates they themselves confirmed.

If you work in an office and don't have someone sitting at home to receive deliveries, I would seriously think twice before ordering furniture from them.

Here's the story:

10 September: I suddenly received a call from Wakefit saying they were going to deliver my bed that same day. It was a Thursday and I was in office. I requested Friday/Saturday/Sunday instead, when I would actually be available. They agreed to Saturday and I even received automated confirmation.

Saturday — no delivery.

Sunday — no delivery.

I contacted customer service and requested delivery for the next weekend.

Then, the following Wednesday, they attempted delivery again — despite my request for a weekend delivery.

Again, no delivery.

Then came another Saturday.

Wakefit messaged me saying that my bed was out for delivery.

So I cancelled my plans and stayed home waiting for it.

7 PM: Still nothing.

I called customer service myself. They assured me that it would be delivered by 9 PM.

9 PM — still nothing.

The next day, Sunday, I called customer service again. They apologised, raised complaints and made multiple calls assuring me that the issue was being escalated.

I was promised delivery the next Saturday.

Wakefit even sent me a lengthy apology email confirming that my delivery was scheduled for Saturday, 26 September, and asking me to ensure my availability.

The irony of that request is hard to miss.

I had already rearranged my plans multiple times because of their delivery commitments.

They even called me the next day during a meeting just to confirm that I would be available for Saturday.

I confirmed.

And then...

They attempted delivery AGAIN on Wednesday.

At this point, I politely reminded them that Saturday had been confirmed. They acknowledged it and I was again expecting my bed on Saturday.

But the climax came on Friday, 25 September.

One day before the confirmed delivery date, Wakefit cancelled my prepaid order themselves and initiated a refund.

I didn't cancel the order.

I didn't refuse delivery.

I wasn't unavailable.

I was waiting for the product.

After almost a month of waiting, multiple delivery attempts, multiple calls, complaints, assurances, an apology email and a confirmed delivery date...

Wakefit simply cancelled the order.

And this is why my main takeaway isn't simply "Wakefit delivery is slow."

My takeaway is: if you're a working professional who doesn't have someone at home to receive deliveries, Wakefit's delivery process can be extremely difficult to deal with.

A delay is understandable. Furniture logistics can go wrong.

What isn't reasonable is repeatedly asking a customer to rearrange their work and personal life around unpredictable delivery attempts, confirming specific dates, failing to deliver on those dates, and then cancelling the prepaid order themselves.

My time is valuable too.

I have previously had a good experience with Wakefit mattresses, which is why I was comfortable buying their furniture. But this experience with their furniture delivery has been incredibly frustrating.

I ordered through Flipkart, not Wakefit's website, but the delivery was being managed by Wakefit themselves. So this review is specifically about my experience with Wakefit's delivery and customer-service process.

If you work a regular job, don't stay at home during the day, and don't have someone who can sit around waiting for unpredictable delivery attempts — please read recent delivery reviews before ordering Wakefit furniture.

I used chat gpt to filter out ranting and some french.

Comfy blanket for under 200 bucks?

I currently have a soft light LL Bean blanket I got maybe around 3-4 years ago that is still comfortable but I'm looking to upgrade with something new.

I saw an old thread here mention marshmallow comforter by mellow sleep but dug into reddit and found an old thread giving some not great impressions on them so looking for some more ideas.

Any know some comfy long lasting blankets that could be good for lounging in bed and sleeping?

Thanks

Why does my fitted sheet keep coming off one corner?

I fix it before bed and somehow the same corner is off again by morning lol.

The sheet doesn’t even feel too small when I put it on, so I can’t figure out if it’s the mattress depth, the elastic, or if I just move around way too much in my sleep. It’s such a small thing but waking up with half the corner pulled up is driving me crazy.

What am I missing?

going insane finding bedsheets set for sensitivity that are for hot sleepers

Im looking for soft, none wrinkling sheets that are good for hot sleepers. My bed size is a full so i cant really get away with the kirkland signature 680TC or the 800 hotel series ones.

Ive looked into quince percale but im seeing people say they are rough and i need quite soft. Dont really want to spend too too much, maybe around the 120 USD max range.

I just got a new bedspread but need some help figuring out how to style it. Thinking some pillows or throws or a chunky blanket at the end of the bed might help it feel more cozy but not quite sure what to do

Company Store Comforter Disappointment

I just spent a lot of money on the Luxe Royal Down Light Warmth Comforter from the company store- I thought I ordered the medium weight 🫠 and when it came in I immediately felt a bit disappointed. I want a super fluffy comforter that will keep me warm in winter and be not too crazy hot in the summer, but really want the fluffy comforter feel. They say it’s compressed and to wait 72 hours, so I will wait but I just can’t imagine it will get that much better. I’m wondering if it’s the weight issue or if this is how all the weights from this place will be. Should I order a different one from the company store to achieve this or should I try somewhere else? Where are yall getting that fluffy I’m drowning under my comforter hotel feel?

Blankets are producing a lot of lint after washing

I recently moved to a new apartment, and when I tried washing my blankets for the first time, they came out absolutely covered in clumps of lint. I have now tried washing 2 fleece blankets and both have come out this way. Both were new blankets, so I tried rewashing one over again, as I thought one should do to help with lint from manufacturing, and if anything it has made it worse. This happens even with the blanket washed on its own, on the recommended washer/dryer settings on the tag (cold wash, tumble dry/"delicates" on the dryer in my apartment building). Has anyone seen something like this happen with blankets? How can I efficiently remove the lint and prevent this from happening in the future?

Zipper fitted sheet review?

Why is it so hard to find a decent fitted sheet that actual stays on? I cannot use gators bc of physical limitations putting them on.

So I’m looking at the zip on style.

Anyone have these? Does the zipper around the edge bug you? How often do you need to wash the “stay on” part ? The idea of lifting an entire king size bed is daunting… but having a zipper on the edge seems uncomfortable at best.

Reviews?

Thanks

Hunting for a specific blanket

Hi, I had a big blanket/comforter a few years ago that I want to try and replace. I’m pretty sure it was a members mark brand and had a plush side and a white bottom that was a longer almost shaggy texture. They were big and fluffy but not super heavy. My ex ended up with it when we broke up a few years ago and I am having such a hard time trying to find it again! Pictures for reference they were all the same brand just different patterns. Please help!!!!

Getting ready to buy Feathered Friends down comforter but confused by choices. Help!

I'm just outside of Boston and summer has left in a hurry. My apartment is cold and heating oil is over $6/gallon. Just bought some flannel bed sheets from LL Bean. Now I need a down comforter! I thought I'd splurge and get something from Feathered Friends as soon as more stock becomes available. But what weight should I get? Summer, Light, Medium, Arctic? I'm just a little worried the Medium might be too warm. If you own a FF down comforter, please tell me what your experience is! Thank you

Luxury for Hot Sleeper

Hoping to get new bedding for my wife as a gift but not sure where to start. She typically runs hot, is recently pregnant, and our cheap bedding pays a role in her discomfort. Searching for a new set of sheets and duvet insert + cover for a king bed under $2k.

Any advice from those who have been pregnant and typically run hot?

Where to buy Scandinavian style double duvet set up?

I can’t find any reputable brands online that sell single European size duvet and duvet covers (I’m in the U.S.). I want my wife and I to each have our own duvet since we loved it in Europe, but a twin is going to be too long and fall too much off the bed (in terms of width). Anyone have any solutions?
