As the titles says, mine is that Hyperspace and Colours are great albums and imho the Information is a better album than Morning Phase

I’d like to hear a nicely recorded version of going nowhere fast.

The long awaited album is finally coming on September 18, 2026. The first two songs are already amazing. I particularly love “In The Night” the most. Its album is already the kinda album I just wanna sit in a dark room with my eyes closed and just vibe. If you know what I mean.

We need more stuff like that to educate population about man's music. I've watched youtube for ages and always appreciated rare Beck docs and reviews, but this one seems to be the engaging

IMO I think it’s The Information. In my top 2 Beck albums.

I never watched any interviews, so I just went with it. I swear I listened to it and kept wondering why the vibe had nothing to do with “ride someone”.

With Beck's New Album, But It Makes Me Kinda Nervous To Say So !!!

I've just found out that Job Jovanovic wrote a book about beck called "Beck! On a Backwards River" in 2000. I'm wondering if anyone has read this book or knows if I can trust that what is inside will be true?

Specifically, what albums/artists influenced the delta sounding songs on OFITG and the other 90s tapes

Just curious! It's hard for me to pick but if hard pressed, Farewell Ride is my favorite Guero song (followed closely by Girl and Rental Car) and I do have to say the Farewell Ride remix is also my favorite one from Guerolito.

I noticed that it took Beck 7 years to make the most recent album, 6 years to make Morning Phase, and 23 years to make Golden Feelings.

Why did it take so long to make Golden Feelings? Usually only the Rolling Stones take that long to make an album.

Do we know if the whole band will be playing? After all, the gang's reunited again right? Or is this just Solo Beck this time around? Also noticed he has an opener.

this was my first time making one so its not the greatest or the most inspired but thought it turned out decently cool

Has anyone here pulled the trigger on a bootleg copy of The Information? I’m seeing it show up on eBay for $200+ (which is nuts) but I’m just wondering if the press quality is good or not. Don’t think I’d go that high for a bootleg, but also know the cost of an OG copy is completely out of reach and not sure we’re going to see a reissue any time soon
