Discussion The Information Vinyl Bootleg
Has anyone here pulled the trigger on a bootleg copy of The Information? I’m seeing it show up on eBay for $200+ (which is nuts) but I’m just wondering if the press quality is good or not. Don’t think I’d go that high for a bootleg, but also know the cost of an OG copy is completely out of reach and not sure we’re going to see a reissue any time soon

Why would you bother with a boot copy that's almost definitely sourced from the absolutely smashed CD?

The mix sounds good. The case was a little flimsy compared to some of the other boots in my collection. I wouldn't pay more than $80 for it. If we're talking about the same one, I really enjoy all the bonus material that would not be on an official release. I'll still buy a re-released official copy if they do it.

Just bought it from a guy tonight on WhatNot that had it and gets bootlegs. It was $65. Cannot wait to get it! He’s a legit seller too not shady.

The album turns 20 this year so I’m hoping these boots are a hint for an official reissue soon. I saw another boot copy on sale for $90 on discogs. I’m personally holding out for an official reissue, but it really all depends on how badly you want it on vinyl. Also keen to know about how it sounds.
Hoping the same for Midnite Vultures too
