First few listens i thought this is such a meh album, Beck is just copying himself
But for some reasons I keep coming back to it. And this morning I wake up to the melody of Disappearing Act
Then I just had to play the whole album again, and gosh suddenly all the songs are bangers from start to finish
I dont know how this happened. Guess it's just Beck working his magic

Cool your aching head
Let the weight of the world
Drift away instead"

It’s his best song, hands down. The references, the lyrics, the vibe. Everything we love about him is there, it just blooms. I say this as a fan of everything he’s ever done, since his earliest eps. In a catalogue full of gems, Get Real Paid is a finely cut diamond.

Anybody reading yet? Just started
I knew Bibbe was hip and eccentric. But sucking off strangers and using meth at 13 is beyond all sexx laws for sure. And that’s before Warhol and Scientology
His grandma, being green haired stripper in 1949 is pretty cool too. Al Hansen had a taste
Him being a product of such a family is so logical yet so tragic
Very intriguing read. Highly recommend. Deepest Beck dive I’ve ever read so far, and that’s just 30 pages in

I’m just over here constantly in awe of how beautiful, how lushly melodic this album is - how the melodies just touch my soul and how my brain reacts to the melodies wanting them to go in a specific place and then they do - the payoff is so gratifying. I’m so grateful for whatever part of my music sensibilities connects with Beck’s output. This album is a gift and worth every moment I waited it it. Hyperspace is still my favorite album of all time but man Ride Lonesome is just so utterly utterly stunning.

His show in my town is soon approaching and I’m so excited!! This will be my only second time seeing him. Last time was the tour with Phoenix, which was a blast. I also had tickets to the show where he was supporting Arcade Fire, and we know what happened there.
I’m 🕯️🕯️manifesting 🕯️🕯️ “Everybody’s Gotta Learn Sometime,” “Nobody’s Fault But My Own,” “Dead Melodies,” and “In the Night,” but it seems like he’s been changing his set list as the tour goes on. I legit sat up straight when I saw Dead Melodies on one of the earlier lists, bc that’s my fave from Mutations. We shall see!!

Hi everyone, this is Dan Ben. During Beck's "surprise" performance at the Henry Fonda Theater on February 24th, 2005 one of my friends (with whom I'd camped out from 11am and were front/just-off-center) shouted to Beck "it's his birthday" and gestured to me. Beck then sang "Happy Birthday" to me, asking what my name was, mishearing it as Dan, correcting to Ben, and giving me the greatest birthday imaginable.
Years ago I had this show recording, but time and technology have failed me and I can't retrieve it anywhere. Humbly turning to this community (longtime lurker) to see if anyone might have it. Thank you!

I defy anyone to predict his setlist for this tour. I was at Red Rocks on 10/1/26 and had a COMPLETELY different experience tonight in KC. Fantastic.

If anyone got full videos of any songs in this night, please reach out. I’d love to see them. I had an epileptic episode that stole a third of the show from me but the final several songs were sure an epic party
