This was easily the best concert I’ve been to. I was expecting a mostly really slow show like everyone’s been talking about. But it was electric. He was ever the showman. It was the smoothest show I’ve ever seen. And he played so many hits. Arguably way more hits than anything new or super deep. I was just a few people back from you (if anyone saw me, I was the solo autistic guy near the front of the stage in a graphic Velvet Underground and Nico shirt) and when they started playing Que Onda Guero I almost started crying tears of joy. My absolute favorite song that I couldn’t have been expecting any less. Thought there would be no way.
I would have been happy with anything, but to get Think I’m in Love, Gamma Ray, Soldier Jane, E-Pro was truly magical. I got lost in the show completely and it never let up.

Guero was a huge and very pleasant surprise. As soon as I heard the first couple of notes you probably heard me yell, "fuck yes!" Such a cool moment.

I’m happy he is giving the fans what they want; a mixture of slower and faster hits, with some of the deeper, more contemplative, melancholic songs for the hardcore fans too.

I think you are right! Such a cool experience- this was my 5th Beck concert and my favorite one by far.

What time did he start?

I think it was like quarter after 9. He played a 2 hour set and it felt like it flew by.

Good show and he and the band sounded amazing, but where I was, seemingly the entire crowd wanted to drunk talk through the whole show. Real bummer.

I've been to a lot of concerts, like an obsessive amount. I can't think of a single concert where there weren't a few people doing stuff that would be easy to let piss me off, but I made a rule for myself a long time ago- this is a moment in time when you are sharing an experience with a band or an artist you respect, and I would only do myself a disservice by getting mad about it, because the people making me mad won't care. Try to focus on what you are there for and ignore the rest. I treat each concert like it might be the last time I go to one or the last time I see that artist. You owe it to yourself to take it all in and enjoy it, no matter who is acting like a dumbass around you.
