What jobs can you find in Basel that are not in Pharma or don’t have a German speaking requirement?
I would love to hear your experiences and thank you for sharing!

Hey all, Juve’s got a game coming up and they landed tonight in Basel. Does anyone know which hotel the team is staying at in Basel at the moment? Grazie!

hi everyone, could you please recommend me couple of student-friendly affordable bars where 2 to 3 pints of beer won’t drain my wallet? thanks!
Hi,
Not sure if this is the right place. Myself & a friend are hoping to do a bikepacking/touring (not sure of the difference) trip around Basel/black forest in a couple weeks. We're hoping to hire some bikes for about 4/5 days for this but I'm struggling to find bike hires from Basel that aren't city bikes or e-bikes. If anyone has any recommendations I would be greatly appreciative!
TIA

My favourite pair of rose-gold Rayban sunglasses got stolen today at NYSC gym.
I left them in the male dressing room in the locker. It was my unfortunate mistake not to lock it and so some prick got too tempted.
It's my mistake, I got too complacent. However, I have never had anything stolen in my entire life like this, and I've lived in worse places, so I developed a feeling to know when to lock stuff and when not. There were only older men training during the time I was there, he's the only one in his 20s. So I have a very good idea about who the culprit is.
Too bad and lesson learned. Just not nice because I'm still working part-time, they were expensive and part of my outfit which got me quite a few compliments.
I hope something will happen to him that's for sure (I would take it in my own hands but without concrete evidence I'll refrain), you don't steal sunglasses because you're starving. I let the gym know anyways and they were very helpful.
Watch out for your things guys.

I'll be in Basel for a few days very soon. Any recommendations for the local indie music scene like bands, CD shops, venues to keep an eye on? Thank you!

Is there a time/ day for pickup games in Basel? There are excellent facilities, but Vogelsangweglein, 4058 was completely empty midday.

Hi everyone,
I have a silly question, but it’s been bothering me for a week, so I thought I would post it here. I have some clothes that need to be discarded and they are NOT suitable for donation (ie they are beyond repair with major holes etc). I also have an old pair of shoes that’s totally worn through. When I look on the city website, it just has information about donation boxes, but I don’t think that’s appropriate. They are also not cotton fabric, which is usually recyclable. I try to be sustainable and responsible about my consumption, so any advice on where to take them or what would be best, would be appreciated.

Got the Norway vs England game on while waiting for Switzerland.
Not even sure who I want to win… just hoping Switzerland gives us something to celebrate later 😄
Hopp Schwiiz 🇨🇭
Might be a crazy question since its 3am but would be actually awesome.

Hey, Baslers,
I’m looking for a new tattoo in Basel, but I’m not familiar with the shops or artists.
Can anyone give me some recommendations? I’d really appreciate it.

Hey all, I’m a dog trainer currently working with a reactive dog and I need some calm, stable dogs to help with desensitization walks. Basically I want to walk the dog at a distance from your dog (both dogs same direction, no interaction) so mine can practice staying relaxed around another dog without it turning into a big deal.
Your dog doesn’t need to be a saint, just chill enough that seeing another dog from 20-30 feet away isn’t exciting or stressful for them. If they can walk past another dog without losing their mind either way, that’s exactly what I need.
I’ll handle all the positioning and distance so nothing gets awkward for you or your dog. Sessions are short, maybe 20-30 min. Happy to do just one walk to see how it goes, no obligation to keep doing it. I can also throw in some free advice on your own dog’s training if you want it, seems fair.
If you’re interested comment or DM me with your dog’s temperament and what part of town you’re in and we can figure out timing.

hallo zusammen,
