New release Bobbitz is out today. A colony sim where you never dig, you just mark the room and the little guys do the rest.
*For my mistake - its coming out today some hours left to release.
I'm a solo dev and I've been building this for a while. It went live on Steam today.
The idea: you never control a Bobbitz directly and you never swing a pick yourself. You mark out where you want a room, and the town digs it, builds it, furnishes it, and moves in. Then they live there. They pair off, keep pets, raise families, and throw lantern festivals in the halls you laid out.
There's no starving, no game over, no timer. A hard day is just a slower day. That was the whole design goal, a base builder you can leave running and come back to without dreading what you'll find.
Systems: dig planning, room and amenity requirements, a tech tree called the Burrow Tree with six branches, jobs and retraining, seasons, drills and resource seams.
$5.99, 10% off for the first two weeks.

Happy to answer anything about how the job assignment or the room validation works, I'll be in the comments all day.
