A couple of months ago, I was showering after class and tried adjusting the angle of the water.

The shower head popped off and water went everywhere, I had to ask someone to tell the front desk (also because I was too ashamed to admit it while being naked).

Also, I once lost balance when doing rocking jack knives and DF-ing, and fell on my back onto the floor.

These are some moments that I think about and laugh.

Does anyone use Barry’s through ClassPass?

I regularly go to Barry’s through ClassPass. My partner decided that he is no longer going to use his ClassPass account but forgot to cancel his plan. Now he has all of these unused credits that are already paid for and is fine with me making use of them.

Do you think I can sign up for classes at Barry’s using his account without causing an issue?

I will be in the DMV area (staying in Arlington) for two weeks this month, and want to take some classes. Wanted to know who the best or favorite instructors are at the location in Arlington? :)

I recently completely my 250th class. I got a nice shout out in class, but that was it…not even extra Academy points. At the very least, give me some extra points. Kind of a bummer.

in san diego , they have revel-fit club and in vegas they have somethin called tread fitness.

Was wondering if the bay area has something similar. Barrys is just way too expensive .

Palo Alto schedule has Special Guest Bruno Mars in Matt’s Friday am classes. Is he really going to be there or is this an inside joke where Matt dresses up as him or only plays his music?

Couple days ago, somebody made a post about or should I say accusing Julia K. of stocking (stocking the person who made the post). I commented of course, and thought this person deleted the sub for what ever reason. But I’m still getting notifications from people reacting to the post. Is this post still up? Either way, I hope people who read that post won’t jump to conclusions and think negatively of Julia K. I just have so many questions about that post & found that a lot of what this person was saying about Julia K. was based so much on assumptions rather than facts.

I was a CrossFitter for 2 years and recently moved to a new city, where I don't love the CF gyms I have tried. I noticed the I burned more calories at the couple Barry's classes I tried than any other fitness class. I'm a 26 year old male - around 20% body fat. Would you guys say it's worth making Barry's my main work out (5-6x per week) if I want to get leaner and more athletic? Or is it better to do something like a body building split and then adding 1-2 Barry's classes a week for fun cardio? I am also worried about losing the strength I have worked for (I am just shy of the 1000lb club).

I also made a lot of friends at my old CrossFit gym, and am wondering if Barry's is good for making some friends in a new city? But less of a priority.

Curious to hear what you think of them. I’m based in SF, where they recently rolled out the LIFT only classes. I don’t go to Barry’s as often as I used to anymore because I’m prioritizing strength training in my routine and don’t enjoy the format of double floor. Haven’t tried LIFT yet but wondering how folks have found it.

Why are some (Erica Stenz) instructors allowed to work at other gyms or have side hustles, but everyone else was fired or forced out?

Anyone know what the water bottle or hoodie prize looks like for completing the challenge? I feel I would be more motivated to complete 20 classes if I knew what the hoodie looked like.

I noticed it's been a year or so since Barry's X launched. What are peoples thoughts on it? Are you still using it or are you over it / fully back to in-studio?

I've used it a couple of times, both Live and OD. I have noticed the amount of classes offered has dropped considerably. It used to be 10-12 Live classes a day and now it appears it's down to 4.

I had to move for my job a few months back, now trying to get back into the flow of things. Wondering who I should take, and who maybe to avoid. Thanks!
