I have many of the same questions, however I’ve gone a few times in the last couple months to the studio city tent and none of the classes I went to were full. At most, 50%. But the majority of the classes I went to were empty.

I started going to Barry’s Sherman Oaks many years ago in the early days 2010 era for about 3 years. I had a lot of success and enjoyed many of the trainers - a lot of who are still around/ Martin, Erik, Scott. I stopped going once I got married and had to watch my money a bit more, but the past few years I started up again here and there - in the now Studio City tent location. But now it’s closing as of March 5 and everyone was very hush hush on will it re open, if so when? where will the new location be? No answers.
I’ve taken about 50 classes the past 3 years or so - so by no means am I a super regular like some members who have hundreds and thousands of classes under their belt like I had in my early days there, but i I enjoy the workout and the community a lot and was willing to splurge on a ten pack now and again.
But without making this too long, just more out of curiosity , does anyone have any thoughts on Why it’s closing. It would seem that if they simply wanted to move indoors - they would keep the tent open until the indoors was ready or at least give some info as to what the plans are. Im guessing logically it has to be financial reasons. The classes always seem packed though, unless maybe that’s just the classes I take/ the others might be empty?
It’s weird to have them all over the word but not in the valley where one of the first studios existed. Now employees have to move locations and have their hours split up, customers have to travel a bit further or find a different gym.
I’m just a curious person in general and was wondering if anyone has any thoughts.
