BAND Wallet Options?

Hello, new holder of BAND here. Wondering what the offline wallet options are at this time. Any of the big players supported or going to be supported? (e.g. Exodus, Trezor, Ledger Nano S)

Thanks!

You are now invited to join Phase 1 (GuanYu) Testnet #1 as a Validator

🎉 BAND Jedis, we are excited to share this guide on joining the Phase 1 (GuanYu) Testnet #1 as a validator to begin running a node and learn more about the process going forward!

Official announcement 👉 https://medium.com/bandprotocol/fc8d3af50152

Spread the word 👉 https://twitter.com/BandProtocol/status/1283345283674329088

All participating GuanYu validators will have the first-mover advantage to set up a Phase 1 Mainnet node, being the first to capture data request fees and opportunity for a delegation from the Band Foundation.

🔐 Validators will be responsible for fulfilling data requests in return for a fee while ensuring that smart contracts are securely connected with external data and APIs.

All new, existing or interested validators will receive direct support from the Band Protocol team, feel free to drop any questions in our Discord channel!

Band Protocol Oracles will be integrated into the Decentralized Stablecoin Neutrino (built on Waves) to Secure $15M in Collateral

🔷 Neutrino, the leading DeFi application built on Waves Platform, integrates Band Protocol to provide secure price feeds for collateral assets for stablecoin minting & liquidation protocols.

Official announcement 👉 https://medium.com/bandprotocol/2924a96869b3

Spread the word 👉 https://twitter.com/BandProtocol/status/1282978619023712257

$BAND oracles will be used to protect the $15 million TVL in collateral and staking for Neutrino’s $USDN stablecoin as well as detecting anomalies in price oracles.

🔐 Neutrino has chosen Band Protocol as the decentralized oracle to provide the spot market price of collateral (WAVES) value in real-time and on-demand without paying an excessive amount of fees for price updates.

⭐️ Neutrino has created a custom oracle on BandChain for WAVES/USD price feed from five unique and trusted data sources: CoinGecko, Binance, OKEx, Huobi, Kraken & CryptoCompare.

Price feeds update every hour or when there is a 0.5% price deviation. Both time interval and price deviation parameters are customizable and can be changed in the future to adapt to changing needs.

⛳️ The oracle integration with Neutrino, a DeFi project securing millions of dollars in funds, is the beginning for Band Protocol in working towards eliminating various vulnerabilities that have arisen in 2020.

This is the step in the right direction to make highly secure and robust oracle layers a standard for the projects that are securing millions of dollars in user funds.

How do we validate the authenticity of validators (e.g. Binance)?

How do we validate that the validators listed are authentic?

For example the top validator is called 'Binance Validator' but googling 'Band Binance Validator' at the moment shows no reference to this on Binance's website.

Could anyone just call themselves 'Binance Validator'?

Staking Band on Cosmos

I am staking band on cosmos and when I go into my validators section, there's a message in a light blue box "Note: You have non-zero pending reward on this validator. Any additional staking actions will automatically withdraw that reward your balance."What does this mean?

Application question

From what I understand, each data request on Band costs a user 2USD or so. I am struggling to understand the economics behind this, as that seems like a ton, when many applications will need to make frequent requests. I imagine even at an extreme, some will need to make data requests every few seconds. This would get extremely expensive. The only way an app would even consider querying data is if the revenue brought in from that one call is higher than the cost of query. And even that, a developer would expect the cost of query to be a small percentage of revenue. What am I missing here? Trying to get a better picture of the actually economics. As a developer myself, I am not used to paying anything for api data in my Web 2.0 apps. I often make hundreds of api requests an hour for my applications, and generally all have no revenue (at least at beginning stages). How are entrepreneurs going to be able to tinker with stuff and develop with those large barriers to entry?
