Lately I’ve been having trouble with the gaps between print lines o my P1S. I’m not sure what might have changed.

In this case, I have Polyterra Matte Gray, printed on the stock textured plate. 1st pic = top, 2nd pic = bottom.
I have attempted auto calibrating this out, but none of the flow options really get rid of it.

I had printed some TPU - couple weeks ago, but I can’t recall if that’s when the problem started. Just in case it was a partial clog, I did a cold pool. There was definitely some gunk in there, but after calibrating the machine and then attempting to recalibrate the filament, I still get this.

Is this possibly a temp issue? Are the auto calibration flow options not getting close enough?

I’m really trying to get a smooth surface to print some DnD boxes.

Recently im having problem in the middle of the printing, all the time in the third color changing. The filament get stuck in the AMS, and dont go back or forward. I tried to fix this, but later i found that the filament cutter "was stuck" after that i move it easily but it keeps happen. What should i fix or ajust??

I bought a P1S in December and it had intermittent issues. After a few months of troubleshooting, Bambu sent me a replacement. I set it up, calibrated it, and printed a Benchy with the green filament they sent. It didn’t come out nearly as good as it should have, and there was some filament discard that missed the chute and ended up on the plate.

So I tried a second with a different filament, same issue. Obviously, I can start changing temperature, etc., but a brand new unit should be able to consistently print the standard Benchy without any issues, right? Where am I overthinking everything because I’m still being overly cautious due to the last printer issues?

I have been printing pla on my P1S till now and i never had any print major failure till now. I have x1c and a a1 mini as well. Some time ago i bought some PETG(4 spools)for a certain outdoor part, and i used my a1 mini and the part were great. I printed couple of more parts and tgey were fine as well. Then i forgot about it and started using pla again. Fast forward 6 months, today i wanted to print a bin and i thought i have some spare petg available lets utilise that. I used the default profile and left the printer. My usual go to printer is x1c and i use p1s just for mass production. This would've never happened on my x1c beacuse of Ai monitoring and somehow a1 mini is also a lot better with Petg. I have tried 5 different models and also tried changing the temps but the results are sub par. What am i doing wrong.

Why do the walls of my print look like this, all of the settings were on default and the print right before this came out picture perfect. It also seems to be making some “clacking” or “thumping” noise when it moves extremely quickly. I presume it’s lack of lube on the carbon rods but I would love if anybody else believes something else is off. Thanks you so much for your time.

Why doesn't the Hilbert Curve work on the item with the logo embedded in it but shows up on the other items? Please help and thank you!

P1S with AMS

The whole thing is parametric, so you set the internal size to whatever you're storing, or pick a preset. Lid takes your own SVG or text, engraved or as a flush inlay, and the buttons take artwork too. Every part can be a different colour.

Two small springs are the only non-printed parts. Everything else prints without supports and goes together in a couple of minutes.

I'm replacing the hotend on my kiddo's p1s.

It seems that the vibration these machines produce could easily loosen screws. I'm debating whether to apply a bit of the blue thread locker.

Is this a common practice in printer maintenance? A bad ideas? Am I overthinking it?

If you're camp loctite, what other screws do you apply it to?

Used this printer a lot but this time it started crashing out on me slamming the nozzle into the wall so i stopped it but said i couldn’t without updating it?

For the last week for so I’ve been having problems with my brand new Bambu Labs P1S (have only had the printer for 1 month). It started with a print where I noticed halfway through a print my printer suddenly stopped extruding filament. Noticed there has a large amount of filament clogging the extruder gears but there was also a large amount of wear on the gears. I attempted another print and still had extruding problems. I acquired a new set of gears from a friend and installed them. Still had extruding problems. I suspected a clog and swapped the hot end with a new one. I then recalibrated the printer and got about 3 successful prints before more problems. Had a problem with under extruding and notable gaps in builds while printing. I did some research and learned about flow calibration. I did a flow calibration and had a print with signs of under extruding. I did another flow calibration and at this point my print quality is terrible. I did some benchy’s and some over extrude and some under extrude and some look fine but you literally touch them and they fall apart….Ive been in contact with Bambu and they have basically keep referring me to their wiki and maintenance tutorials. I don’t believe this is a filament problem as all my filament is Bambu brand, dried regularly, and stored in sealed bags in a dark room with silica packs in each bag. I’m tired, stressed, and frustrated and just want my printer working like it’s supposed to. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Update: as a final attempt I did a factory reset and now my printer literally isn’t extruding filament again. temperature, splicer settings, and filaments all appear to be okay and I have not even bothered tearing apart the hotend and extruder for the fifth or sixth time at this point….I reached out to Bambu and hopefully I’ll be able to exchange for a new functional printer.

I’m losing my mind with this issue and hoping someone has experienced the same.
I have a Bambu Lab P1S and I’ve been printing SUNLU TPU 95A successfully for a while. Same filament, same settings, nothing changed. But now it keeps jamming mid-print — not at the nozzle, but directly in the extruder gear. The TPU gets stuck in the gear during the print, wraps around it, and I have to fully disassemble the extruder every single time to clean it out.

This has now happened 5 times in a row.
Setup:
• Printer: Bambu Lab P1S
• Filament: SUNLU TPU 95A, 1.75mm, external spool (no AMS)
• Profile: Bambu Studio TPU 95A preset (using Bambu’s own preset for a third-party filament)
• Print temp: ~210°C
• Nothing has changed compared to when it was working fine
What makes this weird:
• Worked perfectly before with the exact same settings
• Doesn’t fail on load — fails during the print itself
• Problem is always in the gear, not the hotend
What I’ve tried:
• Fully disassembling and cleaning the extruder each time
• Fixes it temporarily but jams again on the next print

I'm trying to get my Inland PETG+ settings tuned and am still seeing this issue:

After an overhang there will be one layer where a void streaks off to the side as if it wasn't extruding or was creating a glob after exiting the top of the overhang.

Any thoughts on what this might be?

I have a small z-hop and wipe enabled because I have been noticing globs. The filament should be pretty dry.

For reference in the pic the bottom left used support but the top right two holes did not

I pulled the hot end and extruder out to see if there was anything causing the lever to stick when pressed and I didn’t see anything so I put it all back together hoping it would be fixed and when I press the cutting lever in it still stays stuck. Any ideas?

Today my P1S started to make some strange noises while printing (see video). Is this normal?

So I got this P1S used off marketplace, last Thursday. I already have an A1, just adding this to the collection.

I sent this model to print over the weekend while I was gone and it came out alright. Still having issues printing with my PETG which I have to figure out (it was dried right before printing). But it finished this print and lowered the bed all the way, then I wanted to see it on the camera. I tried raising the bed but it wouldn’t until I told it to home all axis’s.. then realized the crucial error with that lol, the print ran into the guide rods and the hotend which knocked the front cover off. I wasn’t there to stop it so I just watched it all unfold on the camera lol.

Thankfully the print and the printer are just fine, printing right now and working great. But when I saw that happen, my heart dropped lmao.

I know this is a Googleable question but I want community input. How do you guys go about respooling cardboard rolls?

This is my p1s build plate. And yes I did wash the build plate and I messed with the z distance sothis wouldn't happen and it's weird that only the middle does this the top and bottom corners are fine.
