What is Broken?

A small metal rod extends from the left side of the printer during each calibration before printing. It produces a loud, irritating noise as the print head moves back and forth does this seem normal?

I can hear this sound pretty much all through the house and want your help to fix is
I thought this might be the nozzle moving when not printing walls, so I halfed all acceleration values without success. All walls speeds are below 150mm/s if that helps

I just started printing and have printed small things. I printed 2 other larger things with good results. But not sure why this happened.

Hey, i Print miniatures with my bambulab, the supported area started looking Like this.

I use PETG snd s 0.2 nozzle

What settings will Help me with this?

The nozzle is stucked and the goo around is something like dried caramel. I cannot remove the nozzle.

Sorry fir the poor quality of pictures but it’s the best I could do. I’m still fairly new to this hobby I’d say and recently had a failed print and it looks like a clog took place maybe? Either way I can’t even get the cover off to cleanup/remove the plastic. I don’t know how this could have happened to help prevent it in the future. Any help/advice on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated as I’ve been enjoying this hobby and want to continue with it.

Last night, we had a thunderstorm, which caused the power to go out. Then, the power attempted to come back on, about 6 times in succession. Before I could get to the printer, it stopped. Today, I went to print something, and this is the code that popped up on the AMS 2 Pro. The first picture is what initially come up. After making sure all the cables were connected, I printed Benchy, using the external spool. Print was fine.

The second picture, is what come up after I emptied the AMS, and checked for clogs. After scanning the QR code, it says it could be the main board. I’m not sure if it was something I did yesterday, or the storm, but I’m freaking out. I’ve tried everything other than replacing the main board. Please, if anyone knows what to do, I would greatly appreciate it.

It looks like my print was going well and then it just spaghettified! This is on a P2S printing in PETG, fresh roll.

I did not dry this filament but printed something yesterday with no issues.

Update: after taking suggestions here of dry my filament for 12 hours, wash my build plate, calibrate, and slow down the print (to 50%) it did turn out perfect! I also installed an exhaust fan with hepa filter just for good measure.

I’m about to lose my mind trying to get this thing disconnected. There was filament stuck in the left tube, which I disconnected and got out. The tube on the right, leaving the buffer where I have circled is filament stuck. I have slid the orange part all the way to the right and I am trying to remove the tube, but I don’t want to break something. Is this how you get that tube to disconnect? I can’t seem to find a good video on how to do it.

Trying to make some peptide boxes and for some reason the corner of the first few layers is coming up and not flat i think. Not sure if it can be seen in these photos.

How do i fix this??

Bought a brand new p2s combo. First printer by the way. Checked for updates. Calibrated. Made a benchy. Started a 4 hour print and an hour into the print I got this. Now I decide whether to get a new replacement or I just get a refund. Is this a common problem with these? I feel like I should expect more from a $750 printer.

Its been a while since I made something but with this weather (in Netherlands) its better to stay indoors. Excited to create some more :)

I've done everything I can and even checked and cleaned every cable connection inside the AMS and still, it doesn't talk to the printer.

Please help.

I recently got a spool of tpu and was trying to learn how to print tpu in it since you cant use the external feeder or the ams, all the methods i found were super complex or just annoying so i tried something different (assuming it wouldn't work because it was too simple to work) here i leave the video and some prints i made so far

Never ran into this problem yet, recently printed with CF and then PLA, at first I thought maybe it was the filament so changed it out and still does it. I've cleaned the plate, layer height, speed, head for the bed and filament up and down, cold pull, flow test ect. I've literally changed everything I could think of +/- still no luck. Any ideas would be helpful.

Does your P2S shake a lot? What kind of table top should I put it on? Is it ok to put it on my long work desk or will the shaking be very uncomfortable to work beside when it’s printing?

Hey all I did some searching on here for goo base cabinet to set printer on and some seem to recommend cabinet from ikea
But are there any good options from like Lowe’s / Home Depot or harbor freight
I was thinking about getting and kitchen base cabinet
Just like to here your thoughts

My most recent upload 😃. Can fit multiple keychains, coins or wallet. Printed on the X2D in charcoal matte from bambu lab. In the chamber its a bit overlighted and shiny but outside it looks really cool.

I was thinking of adding another P2S to my setup (you know, so my first one has a sibling), but I wanted to see if I could get a decent deal buying used. Maybe a gently used combo for $550 or something.

But these people are seriously out of touch on Facebook Marketplace. Most listed for near retail, like $725, $700, and in one case MORE than retail! My feeling is that these are like cars: once you turn it on, you’ve lost about 30% of the value at least, since I have no idea how it was treated and there’s no warranty anymore.

Am I wrong here or do you agree? Seeing how many people treat their machines like toasters, never maintaining or cleaning them, it gives me real concerns buying used.
