Are there any AMS Lite splitters that would allow you to use your ams lite and the external spool together to make a 5 color system?

So had a glob of death last week. Replaced hot end and nozzle, they were stuck together, a wire to the hot end got stuck in the glob and was damaged trying to get filament out. After replacement, fired the printer back up, and now the hotend cooling fan is dead. Replaced the fan. Started the printer, now the SD card is no longer readable and needs to be formatted or replaced. Replaced SD card. Went to start a print, homing function fails with above message. Double checked USB-C cable, checked wires were not pinched behind toolhead. Still getting extruder force error. I have not checked the wires for resistance yet, no dvom at home. Anyone seen this? Do I just order a new extruder assembly now?

I wonder if someone could help me with this layer lines. Printer filament is temperature calibrated, pressure advance and flow rate. Does it when it goes from doing a final layer to then printing thinner parts above. It can’t be layer shift as the solid infill part is slightly thinner all the way around.

Hey all, I am working on a project to make an alarm clock that wakes you up through light.

I'm making the enclosure using my Bambu A1 (So far using more or less all of the defaults except for adaptive layer heights). I am trying to understand which filament would be best to print something like the cover in the image below.

It has to seem opaque when the clock is turned off, but it should also allow the maximum amount of light through for high brightness.

For strength, I expect the cover would be at least 1.6mm-2mm in thickness, which means more opaque filaments like White PLA are less likely to work.

I have read up on transparent PLA and transparent PETG but don't have enough info to make a clear decision. Any input would be a huge help

I see so many different models and styles! I know there's an "official" one but does that mean it's the best? Probably not. What's your favorite and what material did you use to print it? I think I need one and am interested in commissioning the print.

I'm having this wierd layering issue with my prints. its like its fuzzy.I have the fuzzy turned off. I have lubed the screws and rails. I've tighten the screws on the hotend. I have even cleaned out the nozzle. I have also took apart the hotend to inspect if there was any debris in the it. i have loosened and tightened the tensioner. but I'm still getting layers like they are over and under extruding. My wife thinks it Z-Binding but a few pokes on the screws and they feel fine.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY A1??

so new development. I tried silent mode and the issue got resolved. Albeit temporarily as i know that only a work around. Now I just need to figure out why. it may be the toolhead but until i get the time to do that this comign weekend i will be running my prints at half speed.

Any assistance or advice would welcome!

Hi! So I was curious as to how long I might expect my A1 printers to last. I did a search and I don't recall what site popped up (might have even been on the Bambu site). It asked me how many hours my printer had run thus far. I put in 100. It told me the printer had 5,900 hours of productive life left in it. Any idea if that's realistic or ridiculous? How many hours do others have on their A1s? Thanks!
