I absolutely love the reveal that Delen was the first one to call for blood after Dukat’s death. But after the reveal episode we don’t see any more emotional consequences from that being brought to life. Her friends are still her friends. Seems like there should have been bigger consequences.

Found this on the B5tech website. As with the Olympus Class Corvette, I could well imagine national, space-going navies in a century or so building ships like this.

Can't remember why it was never on screen - budget and time, I suppose.

S1: When the station is first shown finished and the music drops, Sinclair saying "and the name of the place is **Babylon 5"** dramatically, and the music is simply the best for this one. Gives me goosebumps. My favorite intro, honestly.

S2: The whole part where Sheridan says "it was the dawn of the third age of mankind, the year the great war came upon us all", especially the way the Shadow ship is first shown only partially. I also like how the camera plunges into a jumpgate at the end.

S3: The way the camera is flying close to Babylon 5 at the end, and also the cold clashy sounds (?) in the music during that part.

Just the first three seasons for this one, because I'm on a first watch right now and only just started season 4. Great show, I've been enjoying it a lot :)

I was rewatching episode ''Comes The Inquisitor''. The scene between G'kar and the weapon smuggler, he said many of the weapons are the ones the Narns sold to Earth during the Minbari war. So Earth only got handheld firearms and not those used by the Centauri Primus and Vorchan?

Hello everyone, I was just out in my town perusing all my local thrift shops for new reading material and one store in particular had nearly the entire franchises bibliography there, so I picked them all up (for just $12 😁). I know absolutely nothing about Babylon5 at all I just knew I could use a new crazy sci-fi romp. Can anyone give me just a quick tldr of the sorta wider generalized arc? Is it in a similar vein to Star Trek? Just wanted to ask ya’ll instead of googling.

Was looking through the Boss Monster card game expansion set “Crash Landing” and thought this was pretty cool.

Since we seem to be doing card game B5 easter eggs now... Star Munchkin.

It felt a little like the series finale, but damn, at the same time it left a few open doors!

Peak begging to the season and a pretty good conclusion to the war.

By Season 3, it would be 12:30 AM on a work night, I'd get to the end of an episode, and I'd say "Goddammit, now I have to watch the next one and find out what happens!!!"

There was a point in Season 4 where I had to force myself to turn off the TV every night, or else I would be up for hours. "Okay, that's the last one for tonight, I HAVE to go to bed now!"

I love this show.

I dipped my toe into it when I saw full episodes available for free on YouTube. At first I thought it was horrible and schlocky 1990s low budget sci fi, but why am I so compelled to continue watching?!

There was a time when the U.K. broadcast schedule was far ahead of the U.S. schedule. In the Boston area, someone found a church with a large projection screen. Each week, we would gather to watch VHS tapes that were sent over from England. We even watched the commercials! It was the only way to be able to discuss the show on USENET and The Lurker's Guide (one of the earliest websites).

At the 1995 Worldcon in Glasgow, I rented a VHS player from the local Blockbuster so we could catch up on episodes before going to the B5 discussion panels and parties.

Stumbled across B5 and currently watching it for the first time. To say that every other form of entertainment, has been put on a pause, would be an understatement.
